Wenger - Death Threats/Libel
On Sunday night two members wrote comments wishing untimely death on Wenger. These were not direct threats written to Wenger's email address or postal address. Are these death threats? Possibly. Are they incitement to violence? Yes. Are they in accordance with this Forum's policy. No. So both member...

Re: Chavski home Sun 24th 4.00pm
I can only guess the choice to substitute Giroud rather than say Campbell was because Giroud had injured his ankle in the week and was a doubt for today? No other explanation. Very wrong Quartz. Wenger came out and said he took Giroud off because we needed pace and counter-attacking threat. Had he ...

Re: WALCOTT - which position is best etc?
I am a Walcott fan more than most on here but he has been in a poor run of form since the Man City game.
Physically he looks lacking a bit of sharpness.
I do not go along with the view he avoids getting involved.
I think the return of Ozil and Sanchez will help him get back some form.

Re: Chavski home Sun 24th 4.00pm
Steve I accept Alexis played well for the time he was on the pitch so I should give him credit too. But he did not play anywhere near his usual standard. I do not blame him for that at all, he did not look fit to me, looked about two weeks from being ready to return, should not have even been on the...

Re: Chavski home Sun 24th 4.00pm
Walcott captaincy a gesture by Mertesacker, not a problem as we do not really have an outfield Skipper on the pitch anyway, not one of the stature of an Adams or a Vieira. For me only Cech emerged from that with credit. Team looked sluggish and devoid of creativity. Why? OK, Chelsea kept possession ...

Re: March Fixtures/Leicester Game Re Arranged
Leicester switch a joke. Insult to fans of both clubs. Plus we do not seem to do so well as a team for early kick offs. It is one thing to move it to a different time slot on the Saturday but to midday on a Sunday? Fans of both clubs should turn our backs on the game for the first five minutes as a ...

Re: WALCOTT - which position is best etc?
Northbank123 Well I felt that the criticisms were unfair. Henry Is a Gooner I did not assume you were an armchair fan. But I did question if you were one. Not as a slight against yourself or armchair fans because I appreciate people cannot make games because of financial issues or work reasons or he...

Re: Now it's the Oscars!
Rugby As much as I think this Oscars issue is a worthy campaign..... ...........I do not deny there are people out there who live a life looking for causes and bandwagons to jump on, always positioning themselves as a victim. Mate of mine used to date a woman who can best be described as an ogre, sh...

Re: WALCOTT - which position is best etc?
Henry is a gooner We shall just have to disagree on a lot of points about Walcott. As for Thierry Henry, I regard him as the best Arsenal player I have seen since I started going to games in the late 1970s. But he was a diva! Northbank123 I argue my point because I disagree with the points someone e...

Re: WALCOTT - which position is best etc?
My replies in red. a. being caught offside too many times to mention - He makes runs so it is bound to happen. b. not making the obvious run off the shoulder of the defender - Not true at all, do you go to games or just watch on TV? c. not tracking back - Again, simply not true. e. cutting inside ev...

Re: Now it's the Oscars!
Snapper MOBO awards were set up 20 years ago because the BRIT Awards at that time hardly ever acknowledged Black artists and Black origin music genres, even though this country had produced significant quality and amounts of them for years. White artists have won MOBO awards so how is that racist? S...
