Re: CoronaVirus Latest

My youngest lad's football manager has sent out text message that was sent out to all the big clubs in Dublin by Beaumount Hospital (one of biggest hospitals in Dublin) telling us that the virus is spreading fast via handles on petrol and diesel pumps, and the hospital has advised people to use glo...

Re: Brighton A Sat 14/03 KO 3pm

None of it matters any more does it - the season isn't going to be completed Agree with that. Glorified friendlies now until the inevitable cancellation of the season. I’d half tuned out of this season once the victims lost a game, I’m fully tuned out now. Gonna turn my attention towards stockpilin...

Re: other matches this weekend

Nice to see someone use Brazil 82 instead of Brazil 70. I wasnt born in 1970 but that 1982 side are still the team I am most in awe of and that world cup is still the best one Ive seen. Football had more of an aura back then but it was a lesson early in life that cynical sides with more nous like I...

Re: other matches this weekend

48 teams will definitely kill the World Cup. you have to then ask what is the point of the bigger nations going through a qualifying stage. a shame - what used to be such a great event has gradually been destroyed by greed. I hear that the Scottish FA are lobbying for a 100 team World Cup :D  ...

Re: Citeh (A) postponed due to The End Of Days.

The season just can't finish now. The first talk was of playing games behind closed doors, but as has already been said on here we already know that the Olympiacos/Forest owner has it and whilst I understand all the Forest players have been tested and reported negative, it is a matter of time before...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

According to Ornstein, a long time ago Maitland-Niles expressed a desire to not play at right-back as he favours a central midfield position. Arteta isnt receptive to players indicating where they want to play, they would play where they are told to play for the good of the team. https://t.co/coC3N...

Re: Spuds or Victims

Nice to see the predicted Maureen cycle in full swing: 1. Clamour for the "serial winner" (err, from 10 years ago) to be appointed as manager 2. Initial results bounce accompanied by being the media's smiley friend with a good word for everyone 3. Transform team style to playing three defensive midf...

Re: other matches this weekend

If Ancelotti is going to be a big success at Everton then he faces the sort of challenge that has faced Dick/Freddie/Arteta in terms of big match mentality - probably the only team ahead of us that I would confidently predict to get rolled over whenever they go to one of the top six clubs. Absolute...

Re: Modern Football Bol**cks

Comical to see sterling in the new anti racism advert telling people that they don't need to raise their fists to show their strength - this coming from the guy that tried to box the head of joe Gomez in the last international break    And also allegedly tried to box the head off his...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

I really dont see who the club could have brought in to turn around the fortunes ,I wanted ancelotti but he got out thought by Arteta and spanked by Frank, his cv is looking a little tarnished now and bearing in mind he took over an everton side who had become very bouyant under big duncs, could ance...
