Re: Spuds or Victims
It's a relief that Spurs didn't win it but a victory for Liverpool can never be a win for Arsenal.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
All those wankers who constantly supported Wenger over the last decade should hold their heads in shame at what you wished for, keeping your mad professor in power whilst the team & club declined & our rivals caught up & overtook us. :banghead: :banghead: Hope you're happy tonight all y...

Game over
We'll never have to hear his bitter, passive-aggressive press conferences and post-match interviews ever again.

Juventus have just won the Italian Cup, are on the verge of another Serie A title and have a Champions League campaign to look forward to next season.
Arsenal have er, um, er....answers on a postcard.

Mertesacker: "I'm so proud to be part of your journey"
I wonder if that's what one of Captain Smith's deputies said as the Titanic was going down

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
All those opportunities he was given to leave with an FA Cup and instead it's going to end in a whimper at Huddersfield - a game that on current form we'll probably lose.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
The players were "close to tears" probably because they know that the gravy train is coming to an end.
I read that Mertesacker "made a rousing speech" in tribute to Wenger. How about making a rousing speech to inspire the team to win a bloody away game?

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Finally
I thought he'd never leave. Hopefully a few of the players who've been on the Wenger gravy train for too long will shape up or ship out. My main fear is that he's been allowed to stay too long that we've missed the best opportunity to put ourselves in a strong position.

Re: Mediocre team v Shit team Sun 4th March
This defeat means it's no longer mathematically possible for us to win the title :barscarf: Honestly, did anyone expect anything different? We've only won 3 (!) away games in the league. I knew we'd lose. And we still have trips to Huddersfield and Newcastle. I can see more shambolic defeats there....
