Re: THE WENGER THREAD

In August it will be 9 years since I started this about Wenger! It reads like a post written today in places.

The board need time to replace so if your going tell us by end of this month or will make the decision for you. Simple

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.

[quote="MyOldMan"]I need to say this and go agianst the great majority but it's time for Wenger to go. I'm tired of his stuborn attitude towards transfers and the costant refusal to sort out contracts before the time, for not building on our strongest team. We are always playing catch up re...

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.

I just don't understand our 4-5-1 formula and Wenger not seeing our most successful teams Have had a balance we have an over balance of tippy-tap players in midfield this originally was to build the team around Cesc Our midfield use to comprise of a left sided attack with speed or skill ie Overmars ...

Re: Walcott - contract talks/which position is best etc?

Theo could be the next Henry or Jermaine Pennant depending on the next few months. At least he is up for it and confident of playing upfront but you feel Wenger has seen him everyday and would of made the switch already. If his confident give him a go. Not sure I believe any player about not being a...

Re: Goalkeepers on a free

What's the joke? Its clear for all we need another keeper in the squad that maybe an older keeper With experience I haven't followed Gordon or . Boruc but they have come out in the press as being available on a free. is there any other keeper that could be available on a free? Wenger should of addre...

Goalkeepers on a free

I know Craig Gordon and Artur Boruc are available on a free. Not sure if we could have one who is better or are there any potential free keepers out there? For me it could be this marginal situation
of not having good enough keepers which could expose us at the highist level.

Re: City / Citeh Drinking and match thread

Hope he don't go like for like in midfield with Yaya vs Diaby will get destroyed ! I think Santi and Arteta with Pod & Gerv are the key but may need Ox or Coquelin to give Jenkinson extra cover. Feel we have a chance and our counter attack could be great for away games. May come down to us being...

Re: Walcott - contract talks/which position is best etc?

Funny people have stated Theo can't head the ball! Guess What? We can't cross the ball so
Its a good match!

We don't have anyone else unless we play 2 upfront. Pol/Giroud combo don't work

Maybe Santi behind Pol with Jack, Diaby, Arteta, Ox midfield?

Re: Theo Upfront

I would of liked not to have Theo at the club but Window is shut and this is all we have! so IF Giroud Does a Cham ( I hope he doesn't) we are forced to try something else. I like the Ox but him and Jack need to convert a few more to step up like Cesc this season. Hopefully we can get 2 midfielders ...

Theo Upfront

Just wanted to express how if Giroud continues form and the Cham our only option could Theo Go upfront finally? We know he can finish and if Santi is feeding Balls through and Pod and Ox can support Him on either flank we can really attack with pace. Plus they can cover for the fullback overlaps. Th...

Re: STOKE RFC THREAD

SORRY MODS I PUT THIS IN THE WRONG THREAD: Hopefully, we can keep it tight and offer an outlet other then the right side/ full back over lap poor cross tecnique we have been using all season. Our most sucessfull teams have attacked from the left side, Overmars, Cole overlap Pires, Henry, Cole Our ri...
