Re: Watford(dead rubber) H Sun 26th 4pm

how do we keep 2 top keepers happy? rotation doesnt work with keepers, and impinges on the shaky defence. i think we will have to sell one. not comparable with united or city as they will be paying their loads to sit on bench, and its not as if one is approaching the end. Its a situation that i can ...

Re: Villa vulvas A Tue 21st KO 815pm

Just read on Twitter that Villa suffered no shots on target against them in the Premier League for the first time since January 2016 when they played West Brom ! Make every excuse you want for copy cat Pep, but tonight was worse than anything served up under Wenger or Emery No shots on goal - not a...

Re: Wenger book - My life in red and white

i may get it for my old man, but would probbaly wait till its reduced to 50p or something in the Works bargain bin, or borrow it from libaray. too curious not to. it probably will be full of shit but still its the greatest period most of us have known at our club so there should be some interesting ...

Wenger book - My life in red and white

Not seen a thread on this, but anyone going to purchase it. Much as i dont want to line his pocket i think it will be an interesting read. i wonder if it will be all crazy modern wenger or some sense before he lost the plot. https://www.waterstones.com/book/my-life-in-red-and-white/arsene-wenger/978...

Re: Quote Tower W*nkers

Yeah but where does the madness end? You’ve got Augie nonchalantly adding to a quote tower from his home in Ireland and you’ve then got me all the way over in Singapore rotating my wrist 90 degrees (and angrily shaking the damn phone before the rotate screen finally kicks in) just so I can read wha...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

To answer your question my belief is no in the same way I believe that MOST of the signings under emery were actually mislintat signings - if you recall, when emery was appointed the club was at pains to say that emery was the "head coach" (as opposed to manager), so I am assuming that most contrac...

Re: other matches this weekend

ceh was actually our best player in the final weirdly though. we should beat them, but i cannot get my hopes up. crappest team in years and we winn the cup, how fantastic would that be! rub that 'cup' team down the roads noses in it...but the year ends in one so next year will be their chance...cun....

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

I was one of those that liked him as a player too, but I believe that he isnt up to this job, and I absolutely hate the way he is going about it Here is the thing for me - to do a proper rebuild of this size requires more of a long term view than a short sighted one. It requires getting shot of tho...
