Re: Palace (A) PL 11/01 @ 12:30
Firstly, it was a fucking awful challenge and did deserve a red in my opinion. But....I thought VAR was to be used for goal incidents not all over the pitch? It's just as inconsistent as any poxy Ref!! Yes it is being used to decide on straight red card incidents all over the pitch. If a straight r...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?
Did he change the formation? I saw 4 at the back, Sokratis at RB was an eye-opener though, Guendouzi for Torreira, Nelson for Auba.

Re: Injuries
That sucks for him and the team. Chambers was probably the least poor of our defenders under Emery and could have looked at becoming first choice under Arteta. Hope he has a steady recovery.

Re: VAR
VAR only get involved in straight red card decisions. Jorginho's foul last week should have been a yellow, which would have seen him walk, but it was never a straight red so no VAR involvement.

Re: VAR
When it came in I liked the absolutism of the VAR offside. Whether an attacker is onside or offside is a matter if empirical fact. But these armpit offsides have changed my opinion because they are chalking off goals that pre - VAR would have been fine and even the TV pundit review would have said &...

Re: other matches this weekend
Fat Frank's young Chavs have lost at home to Bournemouth. :barscarf: The chavs have lost 4 of their last 5 and are still 4th in the table. That’s how shit this league is. ...or how great it is. Anyone can beat anyone, no established order and every game a genuine contest with no forgone conclusions...

Just a poor, poor selection. Kolasinac before Tierney. No.
And then the horror of Mustafi back in the PL team. Kruger not Ljunberg because this is a nightmare.

Yes. And the club have tried to ensure no Frankfurt fans get tickets by not allowing tickets to be sold to Red members or general sale.Bradywasking wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 7:25 pmAm I correct in saying that there are no away fans at this game?

Re: The Arsenal captain 2019/20
Its not much of an apology from Xhaka and a very poor attempt to play the soshul meeja victim card. If you dont like it, get off it. But the root of the problem is that he isnt good enough to be in the team, certainly shouldnt be captain and right now is the lightning rod for evwryone frustrated wit...

Re: VAR
If it’s not corrupt, if the decision you are overruling is not controversial and you’ve got nothing to hide, then don’t be cowards! Have the courage to fucking show it and explain it on the screens ... like they do in rugby! Agree with this. Despite the fact that financially TV revenues are way mor...

Last time we beat manyoo at their place in the league was September 2006. Last time we beat any of the top six away was Jan 2015 when we beat City.

So Chambers gets an assist as a right wing back and a left wing back in the same game. Nice job.
