Re: OZIL No shows, Injury, illness ??

Well in the press today he says he aint going nowhere so read it and weep ! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7582801/Arsenal-news-Ozil-hits-scapegoat-clubs-big-game-failures.html This is bordering on ridiculous now. The manager obviously does not want or rate him and we still have...

Re: OZIL No shows, Injury, illness ??

It seems as much as supporters and pundits were calling wenger to drop ozil because of his lack of performance, the same people are calling out Emery for not playing him. To me its obvious that emery is asserting his authority by not playing ozil, despite him being simple the most talented player we...

Re: Unai Emery

I was thinking that maybe Freddy would be the "next George Graham". Apart from having a brilliant rapport with the young English players, who would have thought that Stroller would turn out to the manager he became? Freddie has similar credentials to Graham. Maybe, he should take over at Millwall fo...

Re: The Boring, BORING Interlull

There’s a great interview just been put on YouTube where a certain Mr Wright visits his old friend Mr Bergkamp at his house in Holland :barscarf: Definitely worth watching, especially during this blasted interlull. The word legend is over-used but it’s a word that isn’t good enough to describe a ma...

Re: The New Signings and Young Players Progress Thread

Anyone else see those photos of David Luiz visit to Rwanda? Wondering if he can bring back one of those mountain gorillas? that will sort out our defensive problems :barscarf:

Re: Unai Emery

This cup team seems to be capable of following Emery's instructions properly. Even passing it out from the back didn't look as hazardous as the normal starting back four . The difference I noticed was that they rarely played it across the penalty area and played it forward more. Cellabos picking he...

Re: Bournemouth (H) PL 06/10 @ 14:00

Happy with a dull 1-0, 1 point behind City. Other teams players shagging their teammate's wives, managers clueless and team spirit on the floor. Top 4 is there for the taking if we get our shit together over the next two months before we play another top 4 side. Chambers has to be one of the most i...

Re: other matches this weekend

Did they play that awful "Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspurs" at the end of the match?? I didn't hear it, but then again I was laughing loudly :barscarf:
No it was the theme tune from "The Magnificent Seven " at the end...
Was hoping to hear the Prince song "7"

Re: Standard Liege (H) EL 03/10 @ 20:00

Even after a 4-0 sauntering win in the Europa League there is still negativity against our own players. The team looked well balanced, performed solidly and kept another clean sheet. I thought Nelson, Willock and AMN played well enough. Star of the show was Tierney. He looks like a proper left back ...

Re: Unai Emery

We'll get top 4 finish with or without Emery as we have a top 4 squad of players. With a close to fully fit squad the back 4 picks itself. The issue with midfield simply lies with Xhaka in the starting line up and the attack picks itself too. Pepe will improve. It took Pires nearly a season to becom...

Re: other matches this weekend

We lost 10-2 on aggregate on our last CL games against Bayern Munich, Spurs nearly equalled this in one game. They will always be the nearly men :barscarf:

Re: other matches this weekend

Serge Gnabry take a bow an absolute class hat trick goal against Spurds. Brilliant. Is this the same player we let go to WBA?

whilst typing this I missed the sixth goal. ...fuck me its 7 (seven)!!!!!
