Re: Sheff Utd (A) PL 21/10 @ 20:00

Genuinely starting to wonder if the players are struggling to understand what Emery wants from them.

Re: Unai Emery

The only thing different about late-Wenger era Arsenal and Emery's Arsenal is that the latter has added the evidenty calamitous element of playing it out from the back.

Re: Sheff Utd (A) PL 21/10 @ 20:00

I'm not surprised we lost I'm not susrprised we played badly. I'm not surprised that we can't play properly way from home. I'm not surprised that a 'lower team' didn't look uncomfortable against us at all. I'm not surprised that our midfield was ineffective. I'm not surpised that our defence is laug...

Re: Unai Emery

I hope you're right mate but I keep seeing people say this about Pires, Henry or Bergkamp when trying to reassure us about Pepe's dreadful start but I don't thinks its comparable! pepe got two assists in his first start. that wasn't dreadful imo. i think he is trying too hard . TH14 was stuck out w...

Re: Unai Emery

Emery served a purpose as a transition manager. It's over now; it is time to bring in a manager that can build a team and bring a style of play back to our club.

Re: Unai Emery

Emery's persistence in setting us up to soak up pressure and play on the counter - despite us clearly not having the players to soak up pressure - highlights why he succeeded at Seville and why he won't (unless he drastically changes his tactics) succeed with Arsenal. I don't see it changing. We are...

Re: Unai Emery

IF the players vote decided the captain then it may be worth considering that the ''lack of control over the players'' situation, that Emery faced at PSG, is slowly starting to happen again.

Re: The Arsenal captain 2019/20

So, he leaves it for the players to vote to give it to Xhaxa?!

This team is going to give me a stroke.

If we lose this then I think it will be all but game over for Emery.

Re: Villa (H) Sun 22/09 @ 16:30

Emery, Lampard and Solskjaer are making the race to get be axed first far more entertaining than the race for the top 4. :barscarf:

Re: Unai Emery

I think that one of the biggest issues with Emery’s reign at Arsenal is that the team still hasn’t shown any visible sign on improving defensively. While, to be fair to Emery, the players he inherited were nothing short of shite, we are still embarrassingly poor at the back. Not only are we quite an...

Re: Spuds or Victims

I would rather shit an organ than see Tottenham win the League.

I actually hate Liverpool more than the Tottenham, but I could stomach seeing them win the League than the unwashed scummy wankers up the road.

Plus, my dad supports Spurs and I just couldn't take it. :banghead:

Re: Unai Emery

I'm fully behind Emery and I'm going to be patient while we navigate through our first season without Wenger. There was always going to be a rocky transition period after he left; however, and I feel a lot of the cult seem to forget this, Wenger left us in the shit. Any manager following on from Wen...
