Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

🚨 For a while, it looked certain Arsenal would look to sign a traditional centre-forward in the mould of Ivan Toney, but more recently, they have considered turning their attention towards a more modern profile of attacker, one whose all-round game & versatility means he can be deployed primari...

Re: Villa vaginas H Sun 14th April KO 430pm

Football has changed. City have destroyed any notion of a competitive title fight. It’s not normal to have to win pretty much 15 games on the trot to win a League. We didn’t need to do that vs Fergie and even the Invincibles didn’t do it. We got 90 points that season and won the league comfortably....

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure? - Merged thread.

I would actually love to see Pep at a club, where he has money to spend, but not unlimited money. I don't think he would be quite the GOAT some people think he is. The one thing he does understand, which Arteta doesn't, is that you have to have a world class striker to win titles. He bought Jesus w...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure? - Merged thread.

Really poor team selection. Cannot comprehend why he deviated from what has made us so good in 2024. As soon as I saw the line up I started to worry. Haavertz is a false 9, and Zinchenko has been left behind (really is time to sell him). As for the those piling in on Arteta. Its still Man City 73, ...

Leave Eddie, Nelson, Viera at home as none of them will be needed.
Or take them out to Germany and then leave them there

  :barscarf:

Can I suggest leaving Havertz as well? Just to help with the translation of course.......

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure? - Merged thread.

Imagine thinking a guy who is setting records for us needs to be sacked. :D it’s impossible to comprehend. Yeah records!! That's what it's all about lads!! Maybe we can win a treble record this season. Take that city! You keep your trophies. Klopp isn't an outstanding manager Hey IW8, don't forget ...

If by some miracle we win this it can put us back on track (confidence-wise) If Not our season is Toast. I concur..If we get turdholed here the collapse will probably make last season's seem like a blip I think we will be bummed here though  I'll wait and see beegee hairs team and if a certain...

Re: Bayern bumholes A Ch lge QF 2nd leg Weds 17th April KO 8pm

As soon as Kiwior got skinned by Sane a few times you could see that this side had crumbled. Because it meant Zinchenko was back in the side and the solid defensive base was a smouldering wreck. Arteta’s inexperience has become relevant again and he’s made all the wrong choices. Zinchenko should be...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure? - Merged thread.

Points dropped in 2024: Arsenal - 5pts Man City - 6pts Liverpool - 7pts City are bottling it. Pep needs to be fired. Earlier I made a post on the Villa match thread and I hadn't read today's posts on this thread, but this is exactly what I was referring to... a typically goading, passive aggr...

Re: Villa vaginas H Sun 14th April KO 430pm

First loss in 10. This seems very apt today with the reaction ‘If you can't support us when we lose or draw, don't support us when we win” ― Bill Shankly I've warned you before about the WUMing. That post is a complete WUM post to try and provoke a negative reaction from lads on here that have supp...

Re: Villa vaginas H Sun 14th April KO 430pm

Fully agree with the above. I've been questioning Arteta's thinking for ages. - Tierney on loan (surely a more reliable option to the /Citeh cast off) - Raya a better keeper than England's number 2? Not in my book - Being praised for getting rid of Aubameyang having battled for months to keep him (...

Re: Villa vaginas H Sun 14th April KO 430pm

In one sense I’m finding it hard to get angry, we won 9 and drew 1 of the last 10 before yesterday and all that did was put us in a position where if we won 8 more in a row we’d win the league. 17 wins and a draw from the last 18 and the title is yours lads. Piece of piss. City are just fucking exh...

Re: Villa vaginas H Sun 14th April KO 430pm

Re keepers - he might be a bit of a knobhead at times, but Martinez is 6ft 4ins tall and Raya is 6ft zero. The taller you are, the more space you cover upwards and sideways. Why you rely on a short GK at the top level is beyond me. Raya's wonderful 'distribution' hardly compensates and he worries m...
