Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
I didnt think we were awful enough to pour the vitriol STeve O. It was bloody disappointing, for sure but it certainly wasnt capitulation, we have to keep picking off the smaller teams like we have been doing and it may not be the cataclism predicted. Lets try and stay positive for the time being ...

Re: The House of Cards is about to fall
I do worry though that if we falter at all quite a few fans will start to falter in their support which can only rub off on the players. One loss against Dortmond after 2 small mess ups and in a controversial cup and out come the Arsene out brigade. FFS Mentally the Dortmond game was a real ...

Re: United Game away
I would be very surprised if Wally started, definately an impact sub for me at the moment. Hes not got match fitness, and would surely fade just when others are tiring and need a few fast runs from him. He shouldnt start yet. Hard to leave anyone out of the winning team, all played so well, maybe ...

Re: January transfer rumours thread
Benteke would surely cost us much more than he is worth? Sadly there dont seem that many available in the PL that would do it for us- I guess The Chavs wouldnt even give it a seconds though us having Ba , or Lukaku, though I imagine his loan deal prevents that anyway :( ? Ba must surely be pretty ...

Re: DORTMUND CL GAME THREAD
Apologies for the question if it seems odd to some,
BUT will the fact that a fair few of our team speak German help at all?
Just sometimes calls insructions from managment etc that happen on the pitch may be more easily read if the language is understood?

Re: Anfield '89 stories?
Amen. 8) Fucking SlySports tried the whole "greatest end to a league ever" rubbish with that Citeh win but it doesn't even come close because of the criteria you mention. 8) Did Citeh need to beat the only other team that could win it in a direct head to head? Did Citeh need to go to Old Shatford ...

Re: Sitting in the wrond end
Worst bit is when the opposition score, all are up yelling and me and my dad sat there feeling sick. worst of all was against Derby many many years ago, when Bob McNab and Alan Ball (I think) were both sent off, think we were the only fans sitting down in the Baseball ground, it was mate we ...

Re: Is it just that they are scared of away fans?
I just dont get the sit down mania, surely the answer would be to have standing areas and seated. Some prefer sitting others standing, nowt wrong with that, just go the the allocated areas Bring back terracing I say- its not that hard to do. Just cos some Judge said terraces were wrong 25 years ago ...

Re: Is it just that they are scared of away fans?
Our stewards have long been slated on here (and with good reason too  ) but is it just me or does it seem odd that a guy trying to generate an atmosphere would arrive just a few minutes before kick off ? :? Isn't the point that the fans are meant to get the atmosphere going prior to the match ...
