Re: Preseason Friendly Thread

Re: Modern Football Bol**cks

It's now becoming a sanitised television experience , The sponsors need controversy and VAR is just the way to get it. instead of just drawing lines and having a two minute chat they now can analyse and dismember all sorts of decisions . It will be great for their armchair viewers but the true suppo...

Re: The 'I told you so' EU referendum - Officially the Worst Thread Ever

So George Osbone's rag states the bleeding obvious .

"" A holiday in Europe is more expensive because the pound has gone down since Brexit ""
That's been the case for a few years now so it's hardly a curent news story just a page filler to excite the remain side of the population .

Re: The 'I told you so' EU referendum - Officially the Worst Thread Ever

Today’s shenanigans in Strasbourg were disappointingly childish. Turning backs and wearing T shirts is not likely to gain any chance of renegotiation ,pretty pathetic but in many ways sums up our political class. One thing however I wish our media would stop calling it their national anthem. They are...

Re: Grumpy Git - things that "literally" get on my tit

Most newspapers nowadays just peddle their own agenda , actual news bypassed them long ago. Any investigational stuff is only printed if it furthers their cause and most of it is drawn directly from Twitter or facebook . I can't talk for Ireland but the British press is not worth the paper it's prin...

Re: The 'I told you so' EU referendum - Officially the Worst Thread Ever

Effectively the threat to walk and trouser the £ 39 billion will either bring the E.U to their senses or else we wave goodbye and trade from outside , and trade with them we will. That might not be the desired outcome but had we not found a negotiating team that were totally incapable of using the c...
