Re: Thierry Henry.....Overrated?
The thing I really hated about Henry was his lack of passion for the club. You could tell he was just here for the paycheck. An ok footballer but he would have gone to Man City if the sheikhs were in town back in those days.

Cristiano Ronaldo is overrated. All he has done is score 177 goals in 165 matches for Real Madrid

Sanogo was today
I know I am not adding anything extra to this thread but I am fed up of seeing him in an Arsenal shirt. It took us NINE years to get rid of Bentdner and now we have this pile of instead

I too voted for Sanogo because if Squillachi can captain the Arsenal in his second ever match when we played at The Bridge and got pummelled then why not Sanogo!

Re: Vindicated
Batista was hardly shit though. He was sh*t during his tenure here; tore the CC up but did fu*k all in the league - 3 goals in 24 matches. Also as I remember that Carling Cup game Aliadiere was the real star. He absolutely tormented Liverpool, bagged two and set up most of Baptista's. If you can ma...

Re: Vindicated
I will buy a cheaply made puma hat and eat it if Sanogo ends the season as a first choice striker having banged in 20 goals (and no his 4 today doesn't count!)

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
Would be ace if they form a partnership upfront. Both 22-21 years old as well. Julio Baptista scored FOUR goals against Liverpool. Let's bring him back and they can form a triple threat to beat anyone! :barscarf: Let's not go overboard. Sanogo was :cussing: for all of last season. A pre season mean...

Re: Puma to make our kits
I agree with the people on here who say the new stuff is poor quality. Just spent an hour in the shop wanting to buy a shirt, jumper and jacket but everything was so poorly made, even the non puma stuff that I just couldn't. The jackets were flimsy and offered no protection, one of the jackets made ...

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
Sanogo can't score even in training: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy-ywGHpP-Y To be fair it had been raining and you know we can't perform in the rain. If it wasn't for the rain he would have bagged loads. I still think Sanogo is better than Julio Baptista even though I don't rate him. Wh...

Re: Pre season friendly at Borehamwood
I am trying to think if I have ever seen a more dull game of football :rubchin: if I don't stop watching now I may quit liking the sport and start getting into knitting instead It's a preseason friendly. Their first after the summer. Go watch loose women/Columbo or whatever sh*te there is on a Satu...
