Re: THE WENGER THREAD

Save their bonuses and their lucrative contracts. New manager comes in and a lot would be drummed out. If Uncle Wenger stays, they're all on easy street for the next 5 years. I also note that Rob Holding is flavour of the month, and whilst I wish him well in his career, let's see how it pans out or ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

He did say "If I'm manager" in response to the Lucas Perez questions - there's a faint sliver of hope that it may not be his decision. Thanks F*^&, because I've all but given up hope that he'd be gone. All the starts seem to be aligning for him at the moment.

Re: Wenger Out protests

No new contract. If, and I'd say it's an epic sized IF, Wenger does actually start using tactics and getting the team organised, then it will last till he gets his new contract. Then he will be back to his arrogant ways, he knows best, none of us have worked 30 years in Football etc etc.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

I had a very similar moment back in 2007 and stopped going in 2008. Nothing since then has made me think I made the wrong decision, and certainly not a couple of poxy FA Cup wins against dross. Haven't spent a penny since going to games, and even stopped accepting freebies as it felt wrong to accept...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

And can we put to bed this myth that Mr Arsenal David Dein was the keeper of the Arsenal FC flame, no, he was the first person to contact Wiggy Kranky, Now we are at the point where the Arsenal we knew and loved are screwed, thanks to Mr 70million Dein. FUck him and John Wayne

Re: Premier League Predictor

That describes the Premier league and most (95%) of the players, massive disconnect with the players At Arsenal these days, see my pic of Big Tone over on the other thread. Something has been lost with all the money that's swilling around the premier league, that's why I stopped putting my money in ...

Re: Wenger Out protests

FairPlay Steve, absolutely your right. Serious question, lets us know if you thinkWenger can change His methods, and will he? Or does he not need to as everything is ok, because. 4th place is acceptable due to the way the club finances are run? Not on a wind up, just want to understand. By the way I...

Re: Wenger Out protest - Wednesday 5th April 18:45 West Ham (H)

Worst of all saying we had no history (words to that effect) before he came, that's the biggest insult of the lot. Any other club has a media team who drums it into the manager to pay small references everyone once in a while to the past of the club, and actually naming names. In Wenger World there ...

Re: Wenger Out protest - Wednesday 5th April 18:45 West Ham (H)

It is good to get the other point of view, even though in most cases I think it compounds the problem of why Wonga is so embedded into the fabric of the business/ club. Leekie over on the home page is a wind up, but most of the posters on this thread taking a Wenger in stance have their reasoning an...

Re: Wenger Out protest - Wednesday 5th April 18:45 West Ham (H)

I wasn't there till bang on 6.55, and had to get going by 7.15 so unfortunately didn't spot anyone else I'd seen before except my mate. I'm glad you guys organised everything that's happened, as a stand has been made. Things will go tits up as sure as night follows day, and it will all end in a mess...
