Re: CoronaVirus Latest

Rugby League and cricket matches here in Aus are simply being played with closed stadiums. I really dont see any reason why the same couldnt apply with the PL. We could build a glass box for Arteta stand in and manage from the sidelines. The Liverpool haters must enjoy the fact their moment will be ...

Re: Citeh (brownholing) A Weds KO 730pm

City are locked in for 2nd with no hope of catching Liverpool. They play us on the 12th, Burnley on the 15th, then Real Madrid on the 18th. I cant help but feel City wont be putting their best team out. I dont expect to win, but I think the 10/1 odds you can get on Betfair for an Arsenal win is a bi...

Re: Spuds or Victims

I too roll my eyes when Liverpool as a football club preach on about Hillsborough. Certainly those who experienced it have every right too express anger, however too many Liverpool fans who didnt experience Hillsborough personally wrap themselves in the tragedy whilst ignoring Heysel. Its not 9/11 ...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

He cant simply look to imitate Pep because it wont work. He needs to realize the limitations at the club, which is something Wenger was unable to do, either because he was oblivious, or the more likely theory is Wenger was in a complete state of denial regarding the lack of quality. However, I fear ...

Re: Spuds or Victims

I really dont understand the animosity to Liverpool. The only three teams I really dislike and enjoy seeing lose are Tottenham, Chelsea and City. Im pretty indifferent to Man United and Liverpool. Im also certain Liverpool fans do not posses a intense dislike to Arsenal. Arsenal-Liverpool relations ...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

Its not an overreaction. Good managers do not lose a two legged tie to a Greek team. If we had of lost to a mid table La Liga club it would have been more dignified, but then again we are mid table premier league. So why should we expect to win that tie in the first place. Us And AC Milan are case s...

Am I being too harsh to suggesting David Luiz shied away from making a better effort to cut out the cross for their second? He pulled back and instead appealed for offside.

Re: other matches this weekend

I picked Gnabry as a great player when he was on the fringes of our first team. He used to come on and change the dynamics of the game. I lamented why Wenger didnt just say fuck it, and persist with Gnabry and sell Theo. But it was Gnabry who left, and Theo waddles on for a few more years. Now Gnabr...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

My issue with Arteta is why would anyone expect him to be this strong willed manager who can iron out all the deficiencies when as a player he possessed many of the traits that made us weak. He was part of the problems under Wenger, he was a captain we used to malign for not being a leader of Adams...

Re: City Banned from CL for 2 years

For City to comply they need to reduce their wage bill to fall into line with their real earnings, and not the inflated earnings due to their laundering money to make it appear legitimate. Pep will leave and potentially other players and they will not be able to buy their way out of this hole. They ...

Re: Barcodes H Sun 16th Feb KO 1630

String some wins together and you can make a real charge up the ladder. Tottenham are in 5th and 6 points clear of us - its not impossible to snatch 5th spot and take advantage of Man City's ban.

Do we have it in us to win the next 5 games in a row against teams that are below us in the league
