The flag issue gets on my wires too. Symptomatic of the "sit down and shut up while we empty out your wallet" attitude all too prevalent in modern football.

That said, much as I think some stewards are complete plums twatting them isn't the answer. Mass disobedience of stupid rules is.

QuartzGooner - I agree there's more to come. DEFINITELY more than meets the eye to this one. proudtosaythatname - unless the auditors have been asleep at the wheel then there's no current financial crisis but we have problems that need addressing. Finishing Highbury Square and selling all the units,...

Spot on Sammy Mooner. Nothing is inevitable unless we let it be. If it were we'd still be hunter-gatherers and living in caves (I think they still do at The Lane). :D I understand why many Gooners feel ownership is not an issue they can influence. I ask why not. The corporate titans and financiers a...

Am I the only one who finds any attempt to excuse spitting or violence completely sick? Ian from Everton expressed himself in moderate, reasonable terms. The fact that some Everton fans also behaved despicably during and after the match is no excuse for gobbing at them. It's simple for me. I want AL...

All my favourite Arsenal moments are when team, management and supporters are as one. Being in love with something or someone implies som...
