Re: Newcastle Away

A good away win but we look ring rusty (oo-er missus  ). Most of our lot did ok. But Mickey Tarragon was appalling. Just constantly pissed away possession cheaply. He gets worse and worse. Oh and Xhakatard was his usual stupid innefective self. With all the (rightful) concern over our defence...

Re: Home to Burnley Sat 17th 12.30

Judging by his post march comments, chambers and sokratis will pair again and willock will start too. Laca will start but not play the whole game. I have a feeling that pepe might start and Reiss will be on the bench. Its important that we tonk them and keep aclean sheet. 4-0 would be ideal. If fit...

Re: Newcastle Away

Exactly, those kids fought for the shirt today. And yes, maybe they weren’t perfect, but they bloody well did the best they could . And they will get better. Don’t forget- these are Freddie’s kids. Decent starting point, but need to bring more to the table than just that - I have said throughout pr...

Re: other matches this weekend

Love to know what thought process led him to believe that zouma was a champions league level defender

Possibly the same stats company that got us Mustafi.

So wenger was involved in the zouma decision too ? :rubchin:

Re: Newcastle Away

Mikitarian and Guendouzi look weak links to me On the positive side i like AMN stuck to his job really well, fantastic interception and cross for our goal Auba had work to do but took the goal really well Clean sheet is a bonus, Burnley up next... Neither are probably first choice in those position...

Re: other matches this weekend

Moaninho has, in his own sneaky cuntin way, absolutely slated fatboy shaw in just a few words - they were analysing weaknesses in manure's team shape when fat head maguire is out covering shaw, and as cool as you like he said "that is something he will have to do a lot in a season"

Re: Newcastle Away

Today was all about the 3 points, GET FUCKING IN :barscarf: There's been massive upheaval in the squad this summer and it will take a bit of time for everyone to bed in so every win we rack up in the meantime is going to be vital. It was a good time to go up and play them there too, not many will g...

Re: other matches this weekend

Norwich starting as they'll probably continue..... Must be an odds on team to go down..."Let's be 'aving you"   Personally I think that they are going the burnley route - get promoted, don't overspend but add 2 or 3 players, take the expected relegation, come back up with much th...

Re: Unai Emery

What amazes me is that all the incompetence of last season, seems to have been forgotten by most on here. For anyone who thinks that will change, well when we see who he appoints as captain, ie “his voice and his leader” on the pitch? Well that should give us some indication of his judgement of abi...

Re: Newcastle Away

Leno Maitland-Niles Luiz Sokratis Monreal Guendouzi Xhaka Pepe Willock Auba Lacazette My expected line-up but not my preferred line-up if I'm honest Either a 2-0 or 3-1 win with the clinchoing goal coming the last 15-20 minutes
