Re: Bournemouth A 26th Dec

First time in ages I've seen stats that indicated that we had more attempts on goal than our opponents. The fact only two were on target showed how out of sync our forwards have been. Lacazette was dreadful. Not the best game but I can finally see signs of a revival.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

Maybe arteta is saying this stuff about xhaka to get a response. Personally, given our links to rabiot looks like arteta will be reasonably pleased to move xhaka on.

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

Arteta 1 Ancelotti 3.

Wonder who will accumulate more points in the second half of the season?

Re: other matches this weekend

A good question raised about the incident with Fred at the Manchester derby, why didn't Sterling lead a player walk off after witnessing the racist gesture aimed at Fred by a city supporter with sterling a few feet away?

Re: other matches this weekend

I don't know English politics as well as you lot obviously, but is there a political party that used to be aligned with the national front ? I seem to remember in the early days in the soulless bowl, some party or national front lads, were handing out leaflets/fliers at the away fans entrance befor...

Re: Who would you like to see as next manager POLL

The sad realisation of the last few managerless weeks is that, reading between the lines, the general feeling is that a majority of Arsenal supporters actually would prefer wenger back, but, the wenger from 1996-2006, not the one from 2007-2017. I just hope we don't end up getting relegated like Ma...

Re: Bournemouth A 26th Dec

What did people expect with the selection with our injuries and suspensions? People need to get a grip on the reality of our situation.

Re: Everton (A) PL 12:30 on 21/12

Bloody awful game of football. To think I wasted my data on watching that whilst at work. Shows how far our expectation levels have dropped when we celebrate a clean sheet, and are reasonably joyful when xhaka passes the ball forward to another player on his team for about 80 minutes. We're 11th for...

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

Graham re-built the club with shrewd signings from the lower leagues. Wenger took it up a level with shrewd signings from the French league, which was relatively unknown at the time. We don't succeed with big name signings. Fuck knows where arteta is going to get in shrewd signings from? Although, ...

Re: Who would you like to see as next manager POLL

The Independent claim one of Mikel Arteta’s first tasks at #Arsenal will be to either convince big players to stay or overhaul his squad. The Independent has been told that Aubameyang actively wants to leave, reflecting a growing mood in the squad. https://t.co/RqReEhPsfy Ljungberg told the hierarc...

Re: Who would you like to see as next manager POLL

After watching a couple of interviews with Arteta from 2014, 2015 I'm slowly coming round to idea of him being a manager that will breath some life into the club. In both interviews he's still a player but was very clear about his management style and the expectation as a manager he's have of his pl...

I'm still waiting for the twist in this appointment...hopefully Ancellotti is delaying the everton appointment for arsenal, and Arteta ends up at Everton. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Re: OZIL - Merged Thread

Not a chance he could be sacked over this. Firstly any employment tribunal judge in any democracy would buy the defence argument of free speech and civil rights - rightly or wrongly. Secondly no one at Arsenal has enough of a pair of balls to even look at going down that road. At most he'll be poli...
