Re: pre season games match thread.

I think the scoreline is pretty hard on us. The half seemed more or less even. Have to disagree with an earlier poster who said that Diaby had been awful. I think he's looked pretty calm on the ball and has hardly put a foot wrong. Song, on the other hand, has been absolutely awful. Stray passes al...

Re: pre season games match thread.

The club love harking back to the past in other ways, like "themed shirts" so why not have friendlies against clubs we have links to like Fleetwood with Highbury. The Herbert Chapman match against Huddersfield a few years ago was a good laugh as well.

Re: Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.

Can't beleive most people think Rvp is doing the right thing club captain announcing things on his website class act did not see cesc Henry or veira doing that at least they showed a bit of class This :high5: I actually find it insulting to the club to be honest. As for his statement. I have read a...

Re: EURO 2012 KNOCKOUT ROUNDS

They've had their critics, me included, for some of their less inspiring (but still match winning) performances, but tonight this Spain team showed that they are the best national side ever. They've made history, and played some exceptional stuff. Many a team has tried to combine pretty football wit...

Re: Is it time to ditch the International tournos?

pros: can watch some football without the stress and disappointment of watching Arsenal The winner is determined by quality of players produced bythe country, not the team with the most money Football on every night cons: The football is usually shit Blatter/Platini The hype surrounding England and ...

Re: EURO 2012 KNOCKOUT ROUNDS

Think the final will be fucking boring. Will go one of two ways: pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass from spain, with no threat to the well organised italian defence and midfield, then ET and pens, much like Spain-Portugal OR pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass, itali...

Re: EURO 2012 KNOCKOUT ROUNDS

Want Poldi and Per to win it with the germans but I think, as well as they've played, even they'll find it difficult to score against Spain. They just don't know how to lose. Penalties in that match, if the germans do reach the final, would be very interesting though

No doubt he'll realise his potential at manure. He'd just've become another clone under Wenger. Good move for the lad.

Re: CL Final - Bayern or Chavs?

If the club had a manager and owners with any pride and ambition they would look at tonight and say "That is unacceptable, they have won the biggest prize in club football and we haven't. That's got to change. Buy some quality and offer RVP whatever he wants. We NEED a bit of that". Sadly nothing of...
