Re: delusional spuds

Didn't we play our home games at S**** Hart Lane during the War? I pray they won't ask us to return the favour now...I would have to insist on my seat being disinfected each time :-P

Re: Problems Selling Games on Ticket Exchange

Welcome to the forum. Well, you have highlighted one of the many problems with Ticket Exchange - it isn't perfect. I don't use it often but have experienced the odd technical glitch and have had to call the Club. However I thought that if you put a ticket in your basket you have only a limited time ...

Re: Best pre-match bars at Arsenal

For the Holloway Road end the Coronet is probably the only one I would recommend. The Bailey isn't too bad either. What used to be the Herbert Chapman and is now called Filthy's just past McDonalds is vaguely OK if you're desperate. If you're looking for more classic Arsenal pubs at the Finsbury Par...

Re: Besiktas (H)

Very nervous on this one and expecting a tense atmosphere. Ba looked very dangerous last time and it's difficult to see where our goals will come from.

Sad to hear that. Still at least he'll have more quality time to spend with the pooch.

Personally I think the jury's out as to whether he is quality signing or a comedy signing.

Re: Besiktas (A)

I see on arsenal.com that an arsenal staff member will give you a voucher when u pass through the turnstiles to claim your away match credit. Is this a new process or what's the idea of it. They've been doing this quite a while for some overseas games. The idea behind it is to stop this... only rea...

Re: The Yaya Sanogo Progress Thread

It's clear he's nowhere near the level required for the Premier League and I cannot understand why Wenger is picking him - it does no good for the team or indeed the lad's career. He's crying out for a loan to a Championship side for a couple of seasons to see if he can hone his skills and see if he...

Re: Bendtner; The Leg-end

A minority view I know, but I'm a bit ambivalent about Bendtner and wish him luck at his new club. A shame he couldn't find any consistency for us (and ended up becoming bit of a clown at times)...and as for that "legendary" first touch......  While I'm glad he's off our wage b...

Re: Israel/Gaza

show me a map from 1966 and i imagine it will show the same as the 3rd picture. or show me a map before the second world war finished . Well the whole point is that the territories acquired in '67 came about as a result of Israel defending itself in a war from its Arab neighbours who vowed to destr...
