Re: Wayno/ Mutley Gooner
TBH I think if we do go with a stone at the stadium we should just keep it brief and respectable as it may be something Wayno's wife and kids (and his mom and/or dad maybe too?) like to visit - and crude or double-meaning remarks might cheapen it for them or embarrass them. I know Wayno would have ...

Re: Wayno/ Mutley Gooner
Sad news - whilst Wayno's posts were not exactly my favourites it is always sad to hear when a fellow Gooner has passed away leaving a family with young kids behind, and a lot of friends which I know he had on this forum.
RIP.
RIP.

Skydive - Paul Smith OBE (fundraising thread)
Fellow Gooners, Please support my good friend Paul Smith OBE in his latest challenge! He needs to raise £5000 by the 10th August to be able to do this Skydive so I hope you can support him in raising money for these worthwhile causes! Paul received his OBE this year for his fundraising (thanks to al...

Paul Smith OBE
I am really pleased to let you all know that Paul Smith has been awarded a OBE in the New Years Honours list! As you probably know, Paul is a Gooner who over the years has raised over £2million for charity despite his own disabilities, and some of you have generously sponsored him along the way as I...

Re: RIP Ernie Crouch
Yes Arsenal made an announcement on twitter and I imagine are working with his family to find a fitting tribute.
Piebury Corner have also name a pie after Ernie and are donating the proceeds to The Pilion Trust homeless shelter for young people in Islington on The Cally Rd.

Re: RIP Ernie Crouch
Thank you for doing this Basil. I've never seen so many people crying and distraught. He was loved by so many people and yet was very humble. When he won The Europacar fan of the season. Shorty after he came into the supporters club and we all stood up and clapped him and cheered and he wasn't happ...

RIP Ernie Crouch
Such sad news tonight that Ernie Crouch who was the 90 year old fan who has followed the Arsenal and Arsenal Ladies home and away for many many years has passed away today in a freak accident on his way to the game. You may remember Chunky asking if we would vote for Ernie in the Europcar Fan of the...
