Re: The Giroud Question
16, 14 and 16. Not exactly far off 20 though is it. Unless you sign someone really fucking good i'm not sure it's worth removing what Giroud does bring to the side. Look, even Smudger's a fan 8) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/07/08/olivier-giroud-is-far-from-a-perfect-option-for-france-but...

Re: The dictatorship has officially arrived.
Glad these Twitter trolls get banned, well done Arsenal. I only hope the more derisory stuff on this website i've seen on occasion about Wenger needing to expire has been treated in the same way. After all I got a ban for calling someone a prick who basically fully deserves it. I can only pres...

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Sissoko has told Newcastle he wants to leave and made a big deal out of it publicly.
If he's free to leave on a contract expiry, why would he have bothered doing that? Think Sissoko would cost The Arsenal a few quid. I'd still happily get him in the team over the Wally on that right hand side.

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
I have to agree, Sissoko is suddenly looking shit hot, evidently someone who turns up when he has something to play for and not being limited by his average team mates in a Newcastle shirt.
However we don't really need to buy in his position compared to a couple of other positions.

Re: Manc Logic
Ibrahimovic and Mikhtaryan. Pogba to come.
Gundogan on the other side. Possibly Sane to come.
Not much wrong with that Manc Logic. Meanwhile over at Arsenal....

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
If it comes to Higuain or Lacazette, you'd have to go for Higgy everytime, regardless of the age factor. As for the other possibilities, Sissoko stood out in a shit Newcastle team and has done well in France, but then again I thought Debuchy would have a good few years here too. Rodriguez from Wolfs...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Mourinho has the edge on Wenger so can attack him as his earliest and easiest target. He can't really go after Klopp or Conte or Guardiola at this point in time. As for Wenger, expect United's £80m bid for Pogba to be swiftly followed by us throwing (an easily affordable) £60m at Higuain, a player r...

Re: The Giroud Question
Nice finish for the first goal and another header, takes him to 3 goals for the tournament. Sorry, do they not count because it's against Iceland?! I keep forgetting the rules. Giroud's still gonna have a big role in the team / squad next year even if he is edged out by a better player. Unlike Wall...

Re: TAKUMA ASUNA
"Like Hazard, but with Walcott's pace". At least it's not the other way round  Seriously no-one would mind about this signing if it came a week after Wenger signed a monster player to help us compete at the top. He's under pressure to deliver this summer, if not then the whole season ...

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Wenger will sign a fairly big name, he's under too much pressure now not to. Problem is that one big name per summer in the mould of Ozil / Sanchez is no longer enough to keep pace now with our 'title rivals'. Pogba will goto one of the Manchester clubs and look who they both have signed already. Hi...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Well I was feeling negative with the above post, but that's before I just learned we're in for Takuma Asano from Sanfrecce Hiroshima of Japan. Described only as "tentative enquiries" so far, but hopefully the sooner we can get him through the door, the sooner he can get loaned out to Bever...

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Not so fussed about Ibrahimovic, genuinely think he'll be a relative disappointment in this league compared to what people are expecting of him. Mikhtaryan, however, I think he'll sneak under the radar now. He'll be the real star and with less attention now, perfect. Possible masterstroke by 'Mou'. ...
