Re: Palass A Mon 21st Aug KO 8pm

Maybe Arteta should have started Trossard. He's a far better finisher

Rice looks great, but Nketiah has the touch of Baptista.

Re: Forest H Sat 12th Aug KO 1230

I really don't understand the point of having depth to the squad if Lego doesn't bother using any of them. Agreed with the majority here that Havertz wasn't great.

That being said - it is still three points, but we should have freshened up a 2-0 with 60 mins played.

Re: FA Community Shield: Arsenal v Man City 4pm Sunday 6/8/2023

A very good result today given it was more about fitness. Atwell was really bad in not booking Rodri.

On a good note, I liked that we could and did chuck a bunch of attackers to chase the game. Optimistic on the season especially with Raya potentially coming in for competition.

Re: Welcome Jurrien Timber

He looks quality and will likely confine Zinchenko to the bench. I can see him getting a lot of minutes. Superb signing.

Re: Welcome Declan Rice

He looked good today and gave a physicality/ball winning mentality that Xhaka didn't possess. Let's see if he can adapt with a fair amount of goals and attack.

Re: The Official (Clive) Xhakatard is a useless crunt thread

Arsenal are in talks with Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka, 30, over a new two-year contract extension. (CaughtOffside) Looks like a couple of posters have beaten me to it, but was just going to leave this here for DB10 to get his week off to a flyer :D :D :barscarf: :barscarf: As a depth player...

Re: other matches this weekend

Auba is making zero effort and no one from Chelsea will pass to him. They are playing with 10 men effectively. Unbelievable how his career completely cliff edged. He looked like a pubber aimlessly wandering around in that first half without ever getting a touch and having zero involvement. I heard ...

Good win and all that, but what I want to know is who was that stone cold blonde stunner sitting behind the Bodo bench? Yeah! I saw her too... :-P :-P :-P Assuming that you meant her - https://www.glimt.no/om-klubben/ansatte/_/image/cdc52f7d-fcbf-4817-8a92-2e062c1870b5:3aa9a4600ea64abcbbcb624311733...

Another solid and controlling performance. Brentford were kept to minimal threats and they were at home. We've a good team this year that teams are going to fear, but still lacking depth. Feeling optimistic :barscarf: :barscarf:
