Re: Barcodes H Sun 16th Feb KO 1630
Matteo Guendouzi dumped from match day squad after failing to impress in training during mid season break to Dubai https://t.co/POjVOjmRRn Lee Dixon mentioned it, and its a good decision. Dozer does need to improve. Now he has to. Heart and passion must be matched by discipline. Competition for pla...

Re: Olympiakos A Thu 20th Feb 8pm
I would rotate for this - martinelli, dozer, torreira, willock, laca all in. We play a 3-5-2 - keep it tight and look for the clean sheet. Hopefully tets appreciates the importance of that and building on the last few defensive displays. Greece is always difficult away, but we should muller them 2nd...

Re: other matches this weekend
Stoke lost again
The pack is chasing leeds hard too.
Interesting PL fixtures coming up, the chavs play the spuds and then united.
If we can beat everton, it would put us much more in the mix for 6th.

Re: City Banned from CL for 2 years
Interesting that both UEFA and FIFA are two of the richest registered charities in the world but it is a requirement that all FAs, players and clubs HAVE to pay their 'dues' to play in competitions which are mandated by the two 'charities', so much for charitable donations :rubchin: Hypocrisy is a ...

Re: Barcodes H Sun 16th Feb KO 1630
Im very pleased with the win and clean sheet, we've been due a win for a while now thanks to VAR. It does sound like a game of two halves again though, so lets not get too overexcited. We still need a couple of wins back to back for us to be a challemger for sixth. Lets enjoy tonight, but remember t...

Re: Barcodes H Sun 16th Feb KO 1630
Xhaka, Mustafi and Ozil...... so not really learning anything our lad Arteta, no Martinelli is strange and no Torriera so Xhaka playing the holding roll on his own. I hope he knows what hes doing but I think this could be yet another turgid performance :banghead: All the managers have persisted wit...

Re: Barcodes H Sun 16th Feb KO 1630
2-0 to us. Two weeks rest and work by Tets. Hopefully we will play a couple of closed door games and laca can get his confidence back a bit. If not, I would start Martinelli and eddie with Auba. We are not shipping many goals now, but we badly need a win, tho away draws at the chavs and burnley woul...

Re: Forming a breakway club?
Btw any new club name would have to be impregnable to the plc's lawyers otherwise a simple cease and desist case could bankrupt any fledgling club. So any former name, or gunners, cannon combos etc would be non starter imho. I think the best bet would be geographically based, Highbury Fields FC ? Av...

In case anyone missed it, ESR scored one and made on Saturday for Huddersfield at the weekend in their 3-2 loss.

Re: Forming a breakway club?
Arsenals history may have started from sarf London but we are and have been an Islington Club for 100 years ! Th Vast majority of attending fans come from or have close links to the surrounding 3-5 miles. Any Breakaway club would need to be very close and there simply aren't any places available un...

Re: Burnley away Sunday 2PM Feb 2nd
The most expensive squad in our history probably, and the squad that has bought me the least enjoyment The problem is that those expensive funds were spent on ozil, xhaka and mustafi. At least we kept a clean sheet. Tets should have started with Eddie and Martinelli up front. Too many missed chances...

Re: other matches this weekend
I see wilshire is out again for a few months again. This time a hernia op - after 16 games in two and a half years.
Its sad in a way.
The chavs and united were poor again, we HAVE to win today to start catching thrm up.

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?
Tets comments today : On his time at Arsenal so far: "There's been a lot of challenges, with injuries and suspensions, but I'm pleased the direction we're taking and very pleased the way the players have accepted the ideas and the way the fans have reacted." On the break: "We'll use i...
