Re: THE Arsenal v Bayern BumBoys 9th/10th April 2024

We are looking at CL experience vs CL novices. 1-0 up, their full back on a yellow, a golden chance to make it 2-0. If the same happened in reverse in Munich, I don't think they start playing kamikaze on the halfway line and offer any encouragement to us. Instead the time is killed, it takes forever...

Re: VAR

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68755999 The latest blatantly corrupt, deliberate piece of sabotage. I feel for O'Neil and Wolves. The decision has to be one of the worst I've ever seen and of course it happens in the 98th minute so that everyone will discuss it. The Wolves chairman the latest ...

Re: THE Arsenal v Bayern BumBoys 9th/10th April 2024

Reading the comments above about Zinchenko, my mind was drifting towards the Bayern game as I watched his performance at the weekend. I don't really watch foreign football, but I always associate Bayern with really pacey wingers and wing backs, and would much rather see Kiwior back in there with hi...

Re: Welcome Declan Rice

Another record broken this season - the first £105m bargain ever ! Meanwhile I was very pleased to see in the media at the weekend, a list of the top 5 worst signings of the season with one season wonder Caicedo up there alongside Tonali and our very own Rob Holding. And to think he was the choice o...

Re: Stupid teeth away at end of season

Firstly I'll get the praise out of the way - his teams have produced some of the most breath taking football I've seen in the PL in recent years. He has transformed that club from Banter FC to a serious team again and someone has got a tough task on their hands following it up OK, that's done What a...

Re: Brighton bumholes A Sat April 6th KO 530pm

What a performance that was - against a team with a solitary home defeat dating back to August too. Could easily have been double the scoreline too if Gabriel had planted the header where it should have gone, and Jesus had half a clue where the goal was. As dominating and convincing performance as y...

Re: Kai Havertz

Another great display today. Fantastic movement throughout, especially for his goal. Won every header against Dunk. Linked the play up well and deservedly won man of the match. I'm sure there'll be a good few on here finding fault with it again 60 million down the drain is even more tongue in cheek...

Re: Kai Havertz

The boy is a massive asset to the team - 8 goals and 4 assists in 29 games is not bad at all for his first season, and look how he scores them (3 with the right, 3 with the left, 2 with the head). Compared to one trick Maddison who everyone seems to knock themselves bandy with, he's got so much mor...

Re: Let's All Laugh At Man Utd! (Merged thread)

Absolutely hilarious! First team to concede 2 goals as late as that in PL history :D

Both teams an absolute laughing stock. Chelsea without Palmer would be fighting relegation and Man Ure will no doubt give the bald tool another £200m+ to spunk on more shite this coming window.

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure? - Merged thread.

We ended last season with 84 points, and were a shambles in both domestic cups and Europe (again) This season we would only need to take another 16 from a possible 24 to level our league total from last season and we are in a CL QF - so barring a total collapse, it looks like progress to me. Last se...

Re: Brighton bumholes A Sat April 6th KO 530pm

This is the game that I marked down as the potential banana skin in our run in - it is well accepted that there is bad blood between these teams in recent years, and as steve o says, they are a team capable of turning any team over on their day. Personally I blame the media darling (de zerbi) for t...

Re: Luton Labia lips H Weds 3rd April KO 730pm

Personally I miss the galactico WUMs we had back in the day :D The days of Red Member, Babatunde, US Marty, Highbury JD The Superfan, Monostich and more recently Wenger's Hat all made this a fun place to be :D :D :D Was Red Member the one who was overly optimistic about everything - even during the...
