The right to do it and actually doing are two different things. Smacking my head on a brick wall here. It's fair (and healthy) that we disagree. If you want people out of the club though I'd much rather you did it with a placard at the players' entrance before and after games rather than ruining the...

I'm not sure you even know what your point is any more. I haven't asumed anything about you, but you have maintained you have a right to boo and leave early, which is where we disagree. Of course you have the right to, but my point is that booing and leaving early is counter-productive if you want y...

At last someone living in the real world. Am fighting a losing battle with a deluded fan in the discussion thread above this one (on Ade's footy focus interview). If Wenger leaves because of these muppets the irony is that they'll be the first to give up their season tickets!

We'll just have to agree to disagree. Of course other fans boo managers/teams, just nowhere near to the same extent we do, and they certainly don't leave the ground at the slightest hint that.......lo and behold.....we might not win a game. If you don't think you're consuming a product then your who...

I was at uni at newcastle and went to about 20 games in 3 years - the atmosphere is great. The Board crippling a club with debt and the fans giving their support are mutually exclusive. Two totally separate things. If/when Kroenke takes over will you go and support someone else if he puts us in debt...

We live in a world ruled by money. I don't condone unsound business practice but we have to accept that the game is about money now. My opinion itself isn't contradictory; it's contradicted by the reality of how things are. I don't like it any more than you do but we can't change it. I wouldn't pay ...

Haven't seen that before - brilliant! Yeah but the game IS about money now, we can't change that, probably ever. The game isn't 'our' game any more than it is the next man's. I don't empathise with bankers. They are very smart people who made obscene amounts of money for their employers and eventual...

MT: an articulate and very well thought out point. I must say I can't disagree with you. But are there many players in world football who truly care about the club they play for? They are few and far between. Gerrard and Carragher, and Maldini. off the top of my head. Shearer I guess we can count to...

MT: This is all excellent stuff. I'm sure you would never want an Arsenal player or any other other player to hurt anyone but the point about Cesc indicated that perhaps a player who tackled hard and therefore by implication 'worked' harder was more worthy of our support. Bergkamp and Cantona probab...

I haven't presumed you are English, just an English football fan. "The last full blooded challenge I remember was when Cesc was injured" - implies that what you want are old school hard-men who run about and try to injure people. I agree Ade has looked disinterested, and of course it doesn...

Why do so many English fans think that running round like a headless chicken counts as "giving your all"? That is such an old school ideology. Yeah why didn't Eduardo carry on against Birmingham when he broke his leg, like Bert Trautmann did in the cup final when he broke his neck?! The fa...

Well the guy has a point - our fans are an utter disgrace at times. We shouldn't ever be booing our own players. Yes we pay a hell of a lot to go to games, which begs the question why anyone would spend all that money to 'support' their team, only to then boo them. The hordes that left so long befor...
