Re: Fulham Fartpipes H Sun 18th Apr KO 130pm

I was about to post that the only goal Nketiah might score is a two-yard tap-in.

As said above, if he is going to rotate then he should give more kids a chance. We know that our experienced players are shit already.

Re: Fulham Fartpipes H Sun 18th Apr KO 130pm

Fuck me they tried their best to disallow that didn’t they.

Some wanker (Pepe I think) raised his arms aloft when the final whistle went, as though we had just scored a last-minute winner in the cup final.

Re: Fulham Fartpipes H Sun 18th Apr KO 130pm

The referee just standing there watching the keeper take off his gloves and then his boot despite clearly not being hurt. Our lot just watching it from a distance.

Re: Worst title defenders EVER* H Sat April 3rd Ko 8pm

One of the only times I can remember a performance with literally no redeeming features. Nobody who could say they had a decent game despite the shit around them.

Re: Worst title defenders EVER* H Sat April 3rd Ko 8pm

Our fans are meek as fuck but Arteta would be out of a job if there were fans in these games.

Imagine how poisonous things would be with the home embarrassments to Leicester, Wolves, Burnley, Villa, City (twice), Olympiakos and Liverpool.

Re: Worst title defenders EVER* H Sat April 3rd Ko 8pm

Agree with Augie re Gabriel. He is what, 23? In an absolute shit show of a defence and he has generally looked good this year. Despite partnering Luiz, Holding or Mari depending which way the wind blows.

Re: Worst title defenders EVER* H Sat April 3rd Ko 8pm

Just how anybody thinks Arteta is the answer is beyond me.

He isn’t just out of his depth, it is the most negative football I have ever seen. It isn’t a coincidence that Partey and Aubemayang have been dragged down to utter mediocrity under him.

Re: Worst title defenders EVER* H Sat April 3rd Ko 8pm

This has been like a 3rd round FA cup game with a third or fourth tier side playing a big gun. I have seen far too many awful performances over the years, but few (if any) as negative as this. They are pretty average to be honest, but despite being wasteful in the first half have deserved this. Who ...

Couldn’t have asked for an easier draw. United, Ajax and Roma all in the other side.

Re: Ipswich Hospital Charity Cup Winners 1951/52(joint) H Sun 14th Mar KO 430PM

The subs were a joke and Arteta’s in-game management is a disgrace. It either involves needlessly inviting on pressure if we are winning, or not really giving it a go if we are losing. He has nothing like the pedigree to manage at this level. But fuck it for today, we beat the scum and I am going to...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure? - Merged thread.

This desperation to be seen as a disciplinarian looks ridiculous when we are still racking up red cards at a rate twice as fast any other club, and the same players keep making the same brainless mistakes every week.

Odd punditry here, including Freddie.

That second yellow was closer to a red than nothing. He is a cheap fucker and knew what he was doing, but even if not he swung an arm into Tierney’s face.

What the fuck is that no-mark Michael Dawson doing on my tv?

Also Gabriel was fantastic. All over Kane and a match-winning headed block at the end.
