Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I've always criticised the media for their passive approach when it comes to Wenger, but with Mourinho they are far worse. They never question him properly on anything and love to print every idiotic comment he comes out with. The fact that they burst out laughing at Mourinho calling Another PL mana...

Re: Bayern at home
Several thoughts  , Firstly re Wally/ Giroud I like the impact sub that Giroud seems to be played as- Basically Wally runs the defenders batteries down with his runs. His header last night showed again he isnt there and I doubt he ever will be a CF of any huge success in terms of his goals. N...

Re: Bayern at home
What a performance tonight. I generally don't get excited by the CL but I think tonight was bigger than a mere CL game. It was testing ourselves against one of the best teams in Europe and against a team in great form and we came out on top. The fight that was in the team tonight was incredible, the...

Re: shocking club photo
This is an example of the modern day trend of being offended by everything, and the PC brigade have now resorted to looking up old photos in order to be offended, really pathetic. it seems to me you and redarmy are the only ones offended here :| thought it was shocking, but ultimately harmless and ...

Re: Manure at home
Delighted with the performance today, but need to do it every week, not just in the big games. Strange how our mindset determines everything.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
EC3- I'm not arguing that the fans don't get pissed off, but it's generally the exception. Go back to last season, we lost to Swansea and had the embarrassing 3-3 draw with Anderlecht but when we beat West Brom 1-0, all was rosey in the garden. We even had huge criticism for the fans who displayed t...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
To be fair i read Barclay article this week and i was surprised how critical he was of Wenger. Journos won't keep him in a job, if the crowd turn then eventually his job becomes untenable. Regardless of what some say about our crowd being tourists etc, there is a significant number that aren't and ...

When Henry signed a new deal in 2006, I expected him to finish his career with us.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Have to say, lads - this growing hysteria over what he says to the media is starting to sound just a tad precious. Don't get me wrong, I agree he talks bollocks, often arrogant bollocks, but name one manager that doesn't? His media shite talk is standard for the job. It really doesn't offend me or ...

Re: Olympiakos at home.
Last night's result didn't piss me off too much, as the CL only exists in order to line the pockets of Stan and co, and any chance of winning it goes out the window after every embarrassing transfer window we endure. My issue last night was with Wenger's press conference after the game. Firstly to s...

Re: Olympiakos at home.
The race to be the least mediocre out of ourselves, Olympiakos, and Zagreb, how exciting. Considering that Stan has his money made, could we forfeit and avoid the inevitable last 16 humiliation. On a side-note, anyone watching on TV3 tonight will have to listen to the 'expert' analysis of Harry Red...
