In answer to my own post above, NO! I hate criticising any player but Diaby, Song and Denilson are just not good enough for our club, and Saturdays abject performance has convinced me of that. Eboue would have been a better option than Diaby and, as we were away, he probably wouldn'y have got too mu...

not one of the named 3, but what about Diaby? He is so hot and cold.

Does anyone think he could be the real deal if he gets a regular run in the team and avoids injury?

If Mickeyfabs and Freddie are right then we might as well close down the forum now. Why is it if someone expresses an opinion, other than totally positive, then they are "so-called" Arsenal fans, who can "f-off to another club". I would say that most peoplewho take the time to lo...

That is a good blog by Amy and, to be hoest I forgot that Adams was so young at the time. Adams proved to be something of a rare breed, on the pitch anyway. The image of TA crouched over giving a clenched fist of determination always gets the hairs up on the back of my neck. I suppose on the Cesc ar...

I would give it to Kolo and persist with him and Djourou. Kolo has more Arsenal in him than Gallas's big toe, and he still has a lot to offer. He is vocal and commited and in the best position on the park for a captain. Being given the role could inspire him back to his best, and Djourou cuold be a ...

My first thought when this came out was, indeed, this might be the excuse needed to relieve Gallas of the armband, or indeed his jersey. It doesn't come across as a call to arms, more like a "I'm nearly at the end of my career, get me out of here". If Kolo was fit I'd say start him and Djo...

[Surely now Arsene has seen sufficiently clearly what is not working in his team, and the players will finally realise there are serious problems that they need to work on] a lot of people thought he would see this a lot earlier than now, and definitely once it was clear flamini was walking. I think...

You could probably still pick a pretty good ex arsenal XI from around Europe and England who are still plying their trade with top clubs and who could, therefore, still be doing a job for us.

The rest of the article is pretty accurate with the frustration we all feel.

It is becoming boring, but we need to solidify our defending. we have 4 clean sheets out of 13PL matches this season. Chelsea and Liverpool have 8 apiece. Djourou should get his chance until January. Gallas and Sylvestre are too old as a partnesrship, as neither of them are stoppers in the Bould or ...

For me it is not a question of Arsene having the bottle to play the same young team in the next round.

This is what the League Cup is about now for us and, no matter how far we get and who we play against, the same squad should be used.

All or nothing.

Ramsey is definitely worth calling up if we are short. He should get run outs as sub if we ar winning games comfortably. I wouldnt be too worried if Gibbs gets a chance either, but this would only be due to a Clichy injury which we dont need. Possibly Wilshere but still a bit young. Definitely Vela ...

in terms of the balance between appreciating what we have and where we should be is not just a question of being fickle. what scares me is that we are possibly missing a chance to cement ourselves as a real force for years to come. Wenger said a few years ago that there was a "power shift"...

I only manage to get to 4 or 5 games a season these days, but luckily I was there on Saturday, and it was just one of the most stupendous games Ive been to in years. The performance and subsequent result were, in some ways, even more perplexing because of the doubts most of us probably had before th...
