Myles Palmer claims GALLAS HAS RESIGNED AS CAPTAIN

Myles Palmer claims GALLAS HAS RESIGNED AS CAPTAIN

Post by QuartzGooner »

Myles Palmer on Arsenalnewsreview.co.uk claim Gallas has resigned and the players are meeting at London Colney to elect a new skipper. (12.45pm)

Myles Palmer has a history of exclusives.

Some woefully wrong, and some are news coups.

We shall find out if this one is true soon enough!

I think they should set up a Big Brother style set at the training ground. We get to vote players out & the last one standing is the Captain.

Be funny to see Bendtner,Ade, RVP & Gallas left to "fight" it out

Just got the following email from a Gooner mate;

….This story reminded me of Myles…

A guy was driving around Dublin when he saw a sign in front of a house,

'Talking Dog for Sale.'

He rang the bell and the owner told him the dog was in the backyard.
The guy went into the backyard and saw a Labrador sitting there..

'You talk?' he asked.

'Yes,' the Lab replied.

'So, what's the story?'

The Lab looked up and said, 'Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the Garda about my gift, and in no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running.'

'But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals. I got married, had a load of puppies, and now I'm just retired.'

The guy was amazed. He goes back in and asked the owner what he wanted for the dog.

'Ten euros.' the man said.

'Ten euros? This dog is amazing. Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?'

'Because he's a liar. He never did any of that shíte.'

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes in the close season. Along with Cesc...

Tough times there at the moment... We need to steady the ship, pretty sharp.

I would say the natural sucessor to him would be Toure?

You can't have a captain who isn't guaranteed a place in the team.

I want text voting by the punters before each game. That way we could get Tony Adams, DB10, Ian Wright, Charlie Nicholas and Nutty Nigel back in the team.
On second thoughts, the way things are going, we'd end up with Stepanovs, Cygan and Diawara getting voted in. :barscarf:

I hope he is right, but I doubt it. Whats the chances of Wenger making it a double, that would make my week end.

not even sure who I'd want

best case would probably be RVP backing gallas and him getting voted back in
he is a world class player - at several points in his career I'd have had him in my world XI
he's only 31

who else is there?
cesc isnt even playing well now without extra pressure
he needs a break not the captaincy
