The real reason for Lady Nina’s departure?
The real reason for Lady Nina’s departure?
Surely she wasn’t gobbing on Everton fans!

Real reason for her departure?
So far it is alleged she was not keen on the new CEO Gazidis, and was upset at being cut out of a deal to market the club in India.
Those are reason enough to resign from the board, but her statements since indicate she believes she was pushed rather than jumped.
There is more to come on this story, and no way can the press know all that went on, or has been going on for the last two years in the boardroom.
Interesting times ahead...

QuartzGooner - I agree there's more to come. DEFINITELY more than meets the eye to this one.
proudtosaythatname - unless the auditors have been asleep at the wheel then there's no current financial crisis but we have problems that need addressing. Finishing Highbury Square and selling all the units, box renewals coming up, centre block Club seats up for renewal at the end of 2009/10 (when the current PL broadcasting deal also expires, tender process just started for new deal).
Very full in-tray for Ivan Gazidis after the holiday.
