travel to Porto - help please

Post by Furlong »

I'm mulling making a last-minute trip to Porto. Anyone know of any cheap flights still going from London to Porto? Perhaps there's someone out there trying to offload their flights?
Ideally, I'd like to leave on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning and return on Thursday night. Is there anywhere other than Ryanair or Easyjet I should be checking out? Perhaps there is a crafty way to keep costs down ie flying out of Bristol or somesuch?
I investigated the Eurostar to Lille and then Easyjet flights option but that was still expensive.
Any help much appreciated.

I'm on the early morning flight to Faro before getting a flight up to Porto in the afternoon.

No hotel booked since i'm on the 6.20 flight to Madrid before getting a late afternoon flight home. Gonna be a long 36 hours!

First objective will be avoid defeat, Porto was a kind draw for us but they are still dangerous.
I'm doing as Andy Gray says and backing a 1-1 draw, gives us something to fight for at the Emirates.

I'd settle for a 1-1,it all depends on whether we hold onto the ball well enogh and if denilson is in the team i cant see us hanging onto it for too long,we also need a performance from bendtner up top too.

with no arsh, song or gallas (and obv RVP) will be pretty hard
those + cesc and verminator (playing through pain) are our best players imo

Do we have anyone left to play in this? Perhaps some of the guys playing in the fans game on Saturday want to go out to Porto for a quick warmup?

Sol should be ok, though I'ld like him alongside Gallas. As much as I love TV, Gallas and Sol looked pretty good together.

My great friend missing in goal.... :barscarf: :barscarf: :)

I would go for the following team;

Flapenski
Sagna Gallas Verminator Clich
Song ( Alex If ava) Cesc Diaby Nasri
Bendtner Ed

4-4-2 would be suitable espeically if Song is missing.
