FSF Public Meeting - "Sit Down, Shut Up!" - Thurs

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

FSF Public Meeting - "Sit Down, Shut Up!" - Thurs

Post by Vic Crescit »

All

At great expense and loss of life those NICE people at the Football Supporters' Federation (it does what it says on the tin. Both Arsenal Football Supporters' Club and the Arsenal Independent Supporters' Association are affiliated) are proud to bring you an open panel discussion meeting under the title, "SIT DOWN, SHUT UP, ARE FOOTBALL FANS DISCRIMINATED AGAINST?".

The panel will be chaired by Tony Evans, football editor of The Times and will include Superintendent Roger Evans, current police match commander at Arsenal, Nick Hawkins of the Crown Prosecution Service, Henry Porter, human rights campaigner, Observer/Guardian columnist and author, James Welch, legal director of the human/civil rights campaign Liberty and Dullip Allirajah, sports columnist for the website spiked-online.com.

Proceedings kick-off at 7.00pm and the meeting takes place at the Vibe Bar, Old Truman Brewery, 91-95 Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL. ALL THOSE WHO PRE-BOOK THEIR PLACES WILL GET A FREE DRINK ON ARRIVAL. They really can't say fairer than that, can they? You can take your chances and rock up unannounced on the night but a) you won't get a free drink and b) you might not get in. As Old Bill will be on the plot the management will no doubt be strictly enforcing the licenced capacity limit.

All this and attendance is FREE, GRATIS AND FOR NOTHING. What more do you want? Thunder and lightening? Further details and the email address for bookings and questions you wish to ask the panel can be found here at the FSF's website:

Be there or be square. Pass it on!

Regards
