Following a scan this afternoon, the Club can confirm that Cesc Fabregas has suffered a small crack in his right fibula as a result of the collision with Barcelona defender Carles Puyol during Wednesday evening’s match.
As a consequence, Cesc will miss the remainder of the domestic campaign as he will be out of action for at least six weeks.
Everyone at the Club wishes Cesc a full and speedy recovery.

But, what an oppurtunity this would had been for Rambo, flucking Shawcross
Come on you mighty Reds
About to say the same. Time for himself an Tomas especially to return to his old form. Lets see how they respond against Wolves.
Oh well, they got to kick on and each of them put an extra %10 effort in.
It's not his last appearance.
Fabregas will not be leaving Arsenal anytime soon. He has a duty to uphold by being the club captain, a fans favourite and the lad is %100 committed to achieving success with Arsenal. He's %100 loyal and has voiced this on numerous occasions. So keep the head up guys and don't despair.
Gutted. So this season, we've had broken bones to Ramsey, Gibbs, Djourou, Van Persie, Nasri...and Gallas, Walcott, Clichy, Denilson and Bendtner all out for 2-3 months each. It is ridiculous.
Saddest thing is a) if he never wears the Arsenal shirt again and b) he won't be able to lift the trophies as captain should we pull off a miracle.
One plus is it might stop him wanting to leave in the summer - would definitely be unfinished business to end it this way.
fucking new it when i saw the penalty go it, he ranlimped back up the pitch. there is no way at this time in the season a limp during a game as obvious as the one he had translates into being ok any time soon.
get well soon Cesc and kick Ramsey's ass on the playstation
