Chants Would Be A Fine Thing

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

AFC
C'mon
Love it !!!

tried this at Rocky O`Reilly`s fake Irish Bar in Prague
Works fine cut down to :

Hey Hey We`re the Arsenal
People say we pass it around
But we`re too busy winning
and Tottenham`s going down.

i've got this one about mr hleb:

'Hleb!! Hleb!!
Wherever you may be,
You play on the wing for the AFC,
and you'll never shoot,
wherever you may be,
and you'll dazzle us with your trickery!!'

Haven't heard this one in ages either:
"Chim chiminy, chim chiminy, chim chim chiroo, who needs Sol Campbell when we've got Djourou?" (mind u he is on loan)

And you could have:
'Denilson! Oooohhhh!
Denilson! Oooohhhh!
He came from Brazil
to play for Ars-a-nil!!'

Finally:
'Gallas is the captain of our ship - of our ship!
Gallas is the captain of our ship- of our ship!
A ship is a tanker, and Ashley Cole's a wanker!
Gallas is the captain of our ship - of our ship!'

Is there an echo in here?! 8)

I also like Tom's suggestion for the Hleb song, but we're already found two songs for blondie. Look on the first and second pages :wink:

I was talking to a Villa mate at the weekend and he told me about their song for Gabby Agbonlahor. I thought it was awesome;

To the tune of Karma Chameleon;

Gabby, Gabby, Gabby, Gabby, Gabby Agbo-onlahoooor,
You come and goooo,
You come and goooo-oooooh.

I'd love to sing a song to that tune at the Grove.
