Always liked kevin doyle as a striker but jesus he is not what we need esp given his lack of pace and is hardly what you could call a clinical goal scorer. Would take him ahead of bendtner though cos his work rate and hold up play is miles ahead of the danish *word censored* and he gave our centre backs a torrid time at the grove last season.

Would smack of another cheapo wenger signing tbh :roll:

Doyle is much better than Bendtnar, also he hasn't got the ego of Saint Nick...I do agree that he isn't what Arsenal need , John O Shea was linked last week. It's the medias way of telling us we no longer compete with the big clubs on or off the pitch.

Samba is better than all of our cb's apart from tv

Barton is better than our midfielders apart from Jack and Ramsey so he would get in the team

Doyle is better than all of our strikers apart from rvp

Signing players from lesser clubs is hardly a bad thing. Everton especially have signed players from leagues lower than the Prem and they've turned out to be top draw. Cahill,Jagielka,Lescott. United have picked up Jones from Blackbuirn, Valencia from Wigan.

Hell we signed Bouldy and Dixon from Stoke all those years back. I worry about the snobbery of some of our fans who think just because you play for a team who isn't in the top 6 you must be shit.
