The board will be happy, if he keeps this up that's at least 40m, no question.

immediately after the match he started waving the players over towards the fans. RVP is a true Gooner and i think his passion for the club is obvious. we are lucky to have him as our captain!

Who said RVP couldn't be a good captain?

The man has been an inspirational leader this year.

Truly grateful to have him, hope to keep him.

Im loving the fact that this bloke is shoving his injury record out the way and getting on with what he is good at.

we pay him £200k a week which City will

If not he will join City,Real or Barca and it will be the fault of Wenger and the board
I don't neccesarily think it will take £200k per week, but certainly he needs to be offered the biggest deal that we have ever prepared. The other points are the important ones. The guy is 28, in the form of his life and is far, far too good a player to end his career with one FA Cup winners medal.

When he's performing his one man miracles and looks back at us conceding the type of goals we did yesterday, and watching Santos and Djourou labouring at full back, he can see it for what it is. But the good news is that its all fixable if the club see it that way. £80m is readily available to be spent - the accounts don't lie. Show RvP that we mean business in January and I reckon the guy will sign that contract.

Won't happen, best bet is to enjoy him while he is here and wish him well when he leaves at 29.

The club will not buy the players, we all know it, the only reason he will stay is if he fancies that legendary status at a club like Henry or Bergkamp as opposed to winning some medals at the end of his career, what he wants and how he wants to look back at his career can only be answered by him.

Strikers don't go on for much longer than 30/31, look at Drogba and Shevchenko, it depends on what his motivation is.

With Dein as his agent we know what's coming.

I'll probably get slated for this but if he had stayed fit for most of the time, then he would have definitely won something...

For his injury record, he owes it to Arsenal to at least sign a new contract, even if he's sold come end of season.
I can guarantee it will be difficult to emulate this form at any other club.

If wenger and the board convince him to stay it will be absoultely huge for the club.
After the departures of some of our top players it will send out a great message about our ambition and will encourage other world class players that arsenal are once again a club goin places and worth joining.

These contract negotiations with rvp are critical on so many levels imo

RVP is a class act on and off the park. Wenger must do everything to keep him.

RVP can fuck my wife everyday of the week as long as he stays with us.

If it helps to seal the deal, he can take her up the wrong 'un too!
