the Arteta problem is very important. I personally think he is failing in his role. Been given 2 months and he has hardly done anything. I think Arshavin should be given a go in his role. he is wasted out wide.

He's not. As I said in the match thread he's doing a lot of the sweeping up role. He was never a replacement for Cesc, he's not even playing there. As a defensive option he's done very well.

Arteta was a great buy.

He's been fantastic for our midfield.

He isn't a direct replacement for Cesc and should be judged for what he brings to our team, not what you want him to bring.

well the midfield is looking very muddled.

you would think one of them could have picked out Park with a pass last night. Wenger was right on one thing though last night, we looked a bit tired. So Rosicky and Arshavin should have come on earlier

Rosicky has woken up after 2 years, the bloke was even tackling last night.

I still think Song is a problem, at times he seems to simply refuse to do his job. I can't help thinking we just need a big old rough *word censored* in the middle to get about a bit.

He's not even playing in the role that made him the best midfielder outside the top 4. The fact he spent most of the second half covering left back position tells you more about santos than it does about arteta.

because Arshavin is terrible and would have watched ayew walk past him and into the penalty area.

To be fair evertons fans warned us since his knee injury he is not the same player. It appears Arteta attempts to play too safe, I think he can make more forward passes than he is currently.

arteta seems to be playing more of an Edu, Gilberto type role. Sweeping up and protecting the back four.

Doing a good job there I reckon.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt on the WUM issue. Now you're deliberately highlighting one of our best players as being a waste of space, while constantly singing the praises of Fatboy Slim at left back.

Now I would just advise everyone to stop even responding.
