Anyway on a more serious level having the home support heavily mixed with travelling luminous german fans might well be a good thing for those of us disenfranchised Gooners - if the tv camera's scans the ground these guys will stand out big time and it will highlight the lack of home support in what is meant to home fans section :oops: A few verbal confrontations between rivals fans as well (as long as it doesnt get physical) might also raise the awareness of the media who will in turn ask more questions of the club re the low morale of their fanbase

Should just make it unreserved seating so they can at least all stand together :lol: I've got no problem with the Germans though tbh. Always found them to be a hospitable, passionate lot, up for some friendly banter...

I may be stuck in a time warp, but if hordes of Germans were plotted up in the North Bank or Clock End, surely they would have been told in no uncertain terms where to go & shown if necessary?

Don't see a problem with them coming out to support their team, it's great. The Arsenal fans will just have to be at their loudest and show them who the stadium belongs to*.

I think people have short memories. Weren't the travelling gooners welcomed with open arms and had a fantastic time in Dortmund......?

I've no problem at all with mixing with them at the Grove, especially for a group game. Might feel a little different if it were a knock out match when tensions are heightened....

And going back to the "olden" times, while I'd agree that it was war when another set of fans came into the North Bank or home sections of the Clock End, it was quite normal to have individual away fans sitting in the East and West Stands. And going away in the "terrace age" it was often very rare to get a separate allocation of seats so we would often sit amongst the home fans and the banter was much better than - for all the other trouble - than it is now!

If it makes for a better atmosphere than experienced on Tuesday night then bring it on.....!
