So pissed off was he with his treatment by the club ,he's now Brentfords scout despite being a lifelong Arsenal man !
Jack promises to "be at Arsenal for ever"

The days of the regular waged paid scouts are gone , there is a massive and extensive system of scouts who are largely amateurs involved in kids football who bring people to clubs . Despite what you may think the Premier clubs no longer employ people at low wages as they get kids thrown at them from every angle and at ever decreasing years of age.
Many people involved at the lower end of the food chain get paid by the clubs when and if the boy the gets to certain stages. It's largely off the cuff and under the counter stuff but its a business that still exists and has gone on for Eons .
The person who was in charge of this side of the business for many years has a bridge in London named after him,my feelings about him are known.
As cash has to be more accounted for the trust element of this biz has been washed out ........................Shaun has produced more than a few for the club in his time .

Bit of a silly thing for Jack to say especially playing for us...
We'll see how loyal he is in a few years when he goes in looking for a new contract and he's offered a fraction of what he's worth, because they think he'll suffer it because he's 'Arsenal through and through'...
The best way for a player to deal with a club like ours is to keep them worrying about you leaving, it's the only way they will pay you anywhere near what your worth...Give them the impression your desperate to stay and you can guarantee they'll take you for granted and try and screw you financially....

Not only that but when he's the main man in the England midfield mixing with City's 200k per week club that are playing in the Champions League, whilst he is looking forward to Thursday nights on Channel 5 playing in Luxembourg and Moldova, he might regret those words.Bergkamp-Genius wrote:Bit of a silly thing for Jack to say especially playing for us...

Never mind, such has been the lowering of the expectations I'll enjoy watching him while he's here. Once RvP fucks off next Summer, he'll be our top man
