Something tells me it isn't fixed - I just believe it is a matter of sheer bad luck. If it was a fix and somebody found out the ramifications for UEFA would be incalculable. Pls believe me however when I say that I do honestly hate UEFA, they are stuffed full of self-interest and have their head stuffed so far up their own backside it can't go any further.

Read the Barca' myth post!QuartzGooner wrote:Very hard to prove bias against or for a team.
But if someone can prove it, I would be fascinated.
UEFA also uses Barcelona as their headliner in the draw involving 16 teams total (see: "Barcelona handed Leverkusen tie")
It's pretty hard to convince people that there might be bias, and that I'm not just being a poor sport, but the more UEFA I watch the more it seems like they just love Barcelona. It's especially damning, to me, that a professional opposition manager (Mourinho) would make similar observations.
Anyway thanks for reading everyone, very successful article, smashed my "record views" for a single article. Appreciate the support and/or feedback, everyone

we would have won if he had stayed on the pitch.
He was sent off for a second yellow. It was a harsh and incorrect decision but it happens. His staying on would not have guaranteed us a win. They were a far superior team and could open up our defence at will.
