Well, van Persie has a knack of getting into confrontations with future team-mates before they've signed for us.

07/08 Amsterdam Tournament (I think) - Vermaelen and van Persie have a little scuffle.

Can't be fucked to check the video for the year - van Persie tangles with Arteta at Goodison Park.

10/11 - Abidal grabs van Persie by the throat, off the pitch RvP would have floored him.

Will Part 3 happen? With Wenger in charge?

Hahaha I still can't believe fucking Wenger wouldn't buy van der vaart after RVP fucking told him to. "Oh Robin, but we have rosicky and Diaby! We have no need for this Rafael character you speak of!!!!" 18 months later.......3 goals against us in 3 league games and 8 points taken from us.

Would be ideal signing for us - bit of experience and can fill in two positions. Not sure if Barca would be willing to let it happen - probably too good to be true

A no brainer if true.Its been a long time since we have had a natural LB who could actually defend.Since Cashley in fact. Dont believe it will happen though

Sky also saying we are after Kalou more truth in that sadly

Well he is the right nationality for starters

It would also be a huge upgrade on the rumoured signings of bridge or richardson (or the guy from oman

) but of course that only makes it all the more unlikely to happen

Not on topic, but +10 to this. He was unwanted, available on the cheap, and we had a great in with him as RVP surely would have convinced him to come over to the Arsenal. We probably could have got him for 6-8m. Imagine him linking up with RVP game in and game out.

Fucking hell.
