Villa FA Cup time/date Change?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Villa FA Cup time/date Change?

Post by Boomer »

With Chamakh away at the ACN (Good!) means that surely TH12 will start.

So with the hype that surrounds Thierry ATM what's the guessing that one of the TV stations will want this game.

It was weird having the FA cup tie on Monday.

Even without TH12 Arsenal/Villa was a banker to be on tv.Remember Espn had Liverpool/Oldham and Brum/Wolves as their picks of the 3rd round

I hate the Monday game.

Not only is it weird having a the opening tie on a midweek Monday but as the draws been made it spoils it.

I'm not saying we'd go out to lose against Villa but knowing you've ManU or Chelsea in the next round would have a different feel if we were drawn against Stevenage.
To me part of the love of the cup is the draw itself. Not knowing who you'll be drawn out with.

I agree with this.
I think they should not have any Friday night/Monday night games

Monday should be kept for the draw itself like it used to be

I hate those games. I hate 12.45pm and 5.30pm games on a Saturday. I don't know what it is but Arsenal seem to play really badly at those times of the days and I feel uncomfortable watching them.

It's 100% gonna be live on tv.

If it's Sunday or Monday the Bolton away match will have to be moved.

My bet is Saturday at 12:45 or 5:30pm.

Thierry's going to Wem-ber-lee !!!

Maybe he'll drive past it on his way to Heathrow Airport in late February.

I also miss Bert Millichip.
A bloke with a usual facial expression looked as if he was about to burst into uncontrollable laughter, but he never did.
