So it all starts again

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So it all starts again

June 18th I believe

Premiership fixtures published.

Feeling is that we will start our first away game at Stamford Bridge. If not it will be fairly early.

Nice to have three relatively local matches with West Ham, Reading and Southampton replacing long distant Blackburn, Bolton and Wolves.

So with this in mind are you looking at when we face the best team in Europe first? Or when we face the Manc duo, or the Scousers pair, or the Spuds?

For me the fixture that stands out is Arsenal v Fulham.....our once near brothers in arms...Fulham..the club we nearly merged with...the club that has a common bond...hating the best team in Europe.

What trips early doors do we have?
Will we win the title?
Can we win the title?
Or will Manchester just waltz away with all the pots?
Can the best team in Europe do it back to back?
Will be laugh at Tottenham?
Or will we still be ridiculed for not winning a trophy Gain by West Brom fans and have Villa sing with the best teamin Europe "have you ever won the European Cup?"

More pain?
More misery?
More dust in the cabinet?

June 18th.....a miserable day I say.....hopes and dreams in a big firestorm I say

It's going to take time to adjust to being another 'also ran' in the league.

In that time, I shall ENJOY watching some sports that don't make me feel physically sick for the duration of watching them.

I have the Olympics on my doorstep.
F1 and Hamilton coming of age
EURO's and not expecting fireworks
Royal Ascot with Frankel, Black Caviar
Wimbledon and the rain
Test Cricket

to name a few.

I shall quite probably be donning my Arsenal cap of unexpectance after having enjoyed all those first.

There's a lot to happen in the market before we can speculate our future for next season. With the likely scrapping of the t*ott team and the lessened fight for 4th, i think it's quite likely we won't invest at all this summer... again.

A bit pissed off that Bolton and Blackburn went down as I'll be studying in Manchester until January. We're bound to start at home this time.
August 18th is the first game right? And is there still that bloody international break in September?

Anyone know of any European Pre-season friendlies yet?

I'll look forward to watching us stress free in the summer sun before it kicks off again.

If we are playing Cologne, a big group of us are going out there for my 30th. We will be taking the Banner.
