Be nice to get neanderthals away out of the way so early in the season...

Chunky, will we be playing the mackem fans in the game beforehand ? FFS we are overdue a win against these boys

Not overly happy about 4 away games out of our first 6 games especially when they against inbreds, victims, citeeh and chavs  I know last summer when the fixtures came out I hoped that cos we got a tough start, the senile old fool would do his business early knowing that we couldnt afford a bad start but of course we all know how that panned out dont we ?   Inbreds away 2nd game of the season will be a culture shock for poldi and any other european signing :box:

I would also be jumping on this bandwagon, but I reckon we will be at home...most likely against someone like Everton or Sunderland
I should really start placing bets.

We have been proper raped by the fixture list though, bindippers away, oil city away, stoke RFC away and chelsea at home in our first six? we are obviously not paying the right people

By all accounts we did make an offer but were not prepared to be held to ransom by outragous demands

Victims away isn't such a daunting fixture anymore; they're a bang average side. It's no different to playing Norwich away. About time people stopped fearing them.

I still look at it as a big'un, they are a sleeping giant now but it's always tight when we go up there...that is except when Baptista's playing :barscarf:

Looking at our run in from april:

WBA (a)
Norwich (h)
Fulham (a)
Manyoo (h)
QPR (a)
Wigan (h)
Geordies (a)

Could be a lot worse, no? I'm already thinking of how we're going to manage to f#ck that up

With the squad as it currently stands the run in wont matter cos we will be out of the running long before that

Fair point. Can we hope that we won't be "out of the race" by Boxing Day, for once we are at home and I'd like to face Wet Spam knowing that there is at least a mathematical chance of winning the title at that point
