THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bayern Munich 'say no to Arsene Wenger after Frenchman called Karl-Heinz Rummenigge' to signal his interest in managerial vacancy https://t.co/PvJTzx7P2T https://t.co/2Du3TxW8ok

The old clown still thinks he's relevant. No doubt thought he has the authority to phone Rummenigge direct to say he wanted the job and that the German would swoon at the idea. Turns out that Kerl-Heinz laughed and told him to fuck off.....at least that's how I hope it went !

A call to Rochdale might get some joy....."might" I said. :D

Totally cringeworthy. I almost feel embarrassed for the old French fraud.

But not quite. :-P

What does Karl Heinz Rummenigge know anyway!

Has he spent 30 years in football?

I wonder if the words "ten two" were uttered during the Wenger-Bayern non conversation

Truly I would piss my pants to see this Goon turn up there......somehow, I don't think Bayern are quite that daft

I'll see your 'Wenger rejects short term contract' and raise you....

Rummenigge:
"We will work with Hansi Flick until further notice. I have respect for Arsene. We will call him and clear things up. I don't want to stress him."

I think he is talking up the Bayern thing because he thinks that by doing so Arsenal will speed up the sacking of Emry and bring him back !
