THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

According to the [ Mirror ] Arsene Wenger has agreed for a statue of himself to be made outside the Emirates Stadium #afc #arsenal
I don't believe he agreed to it, that's just not him. He has always been results orientated but always let others take the praise & accolades. The reward for him were the trophies he won and the smiles he put on the fans faces.

Or am I confusing him with someone else :? :? :?

So his cult will now have a place of worship. John Cross will be the first to kneel at the monument to lord Wenger.

I was walking past the bowl last week and had the shock of my feckin' life, I thought I saw a statue of Giroud, then realised it was a Lampost.

We can only thank God for Arsene Wenger. Personally I wouldn't have a clue about any of this stuff without his sage comments.

So are we also now saying Wenger spoke the Emirates into existence as well?

And Wenger said, Let there be floodlight: and there was floodlight. And Wenger saw the floodlight, and it was good; And Wenger divided the deluded from the enlightened! And Wenger called the deluded Loyal, and the enlightened he called Disgraceful

Thy Tikky takky come
Thy Tikky Takky shall be done

And so it was he went and wandered in the great wilderness for 40 day and 40 nights and there he did lay with Oxen and with a French DJ

And he did cast forth his seed and so it was Eboue was born from this conjoining
