As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not to mention that we had very strong sides in 1998 and 2008 and they did their best to get relegated those years. Now their side is probably the strongest it's been (other than last year) and ours is the weakest it's been, plus Bale playing out of his skin.
Not confident at all.
That is indeed a shocking stat and I was gobsmacked when I read it cos we have been so far ahead of them during that time
It's okay though because Wenger has brought in Ramsey who has had a dreadful season so that he can continue his policy of converting quality AMCs into wingers.

Think it's just one of Wenger's crazy stubborn ideas. Was convinced that Podolski was a great left winger and started him there every game for months even when he went through a dip in form and even though it was obvious he should be at least tried as a striker. Then he gets it into his head Podolski is fatigued or struggling in some other way and he's consigned to the bench for months.
What he basically came out and said before the game about Bale was that we never change tactics based on our opponents. Imagine if Benitez or AVB (earlier in the season especially) came out and said essentially tactics aren't required - they'd get fucking slated.
