Absolutely no chance of it happening even if we got an early goal

Ribery, Robben, Schweinsteiger out.

Just Mandzukic, Kroos, Muller, Gomez et al to worry about then  :worried:

Wonder if they would have been out if they needed to win? :?

anybody think we should rest people for the Swansea game?
Personally I think we react so badly to batterings we need our best team out whatever

They have a very strong squad, but anything that weakens the team - and a team without Ribery, Robben and Schweinsteiger has got to be seen as weaker - has got to be a good thing for us.

At the very least it improves our chances of coming away from there without being embarrassed. And at most it gives us a glimmer of a chance of coming away with a draw. But I think we would struggle to win by the 3-0 that we need even if we were playing their reserves or youth team!

am hoping for an 'inter at the san siro' type of display. just dont get embarrased, play compact and play on the break, for all the dismay about the home defeat we were but a good giroud finish away from being 3-2. i trust arsenal being behind going into the second leg knowing we have to attack and bayern being complacent might see us through.

i will show belief and mental strengh, and defo no handbreaks

I think 4-2 sounds less miraculously unlikely than 3-0

We'll either...

...draw 0-0, lose 1-0. Wenger proud in the team, can't blame them...

...get thrashed 3-0, 4-0. Wenger says we still have the 'fourth place trophy' to play for, there'll be "changes" in the summer.

I meant "major changes." I doubt anything like that will happen this summer. Unless Wenger himself leaves.

They've had 10 days "rest", any more and they'll be comatose.

Hi Gooners,
good luck for the Wednesday game! Düsseldorf was able to score two goals in the Bundesliga game on Saturday, so maybe you can score 3! Just make sure not to receive one ;-).

Cheers,
Thomas

P.S.: Who from the management can I adress if I have to pay my 50 Euro and two big pints bet if Bayern goes into the next round?
