I am not including an "Only for the right transfer fee" option because I think there is little danger of us splashing out silly money on any player!

Personally whilst he would add to the squad, I would rather go for a top quality "number Nine" striker than a deeper lying "number Ten" such as Rooney, although he has described himself as a "Nine and a half".

I voted not sure - on his day he can be a great player but is he on the way down already ? Has his attitude changed this year cos the motivation isnt there or has it changed cos he aint happy at no longer being top dog score rvp signed ? One thing I can say with some level of certainty is that it is very rare that old ferguscum sell's a player that isnt on a downward slope.

I think he's seen his best days tbh and, as Quartz says, we are far more in need of a proper number 9 (seeing as Wenger looks likely to never give Podolski that role ). But he is still a far better footballer than any of the other forwards at our club.

I'd take him, but I honestly couldn't see him fitting into Wenger's Barca-Lite tippy tappy "system" so he'd probably be slotted in at right back.

I think signing him would ruin the development of basically all our players.
