Everton at Home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Don't get me wrong Everton are a good side and playing very well but their league position is a bit of a sham. Getting players like Lakaku and Barry on loan from the petro dollar clubs skews the league table for me. You'd never get players of that caliber going on loan in the pre oilgarch days. The loan system needs to be looked at in my opinion. Anyway rant over, 2 nil to the Arsenal :barscarf:

Gareth Barry ?

you jest surely ?

Barry came from Villa. take out city's petro dollars and he'd still be there or gone from Villa to Everton direct.

+ i don't rate him.

I'm going to this one, don't go to many. Just hope we can keep creating a lot of chances and score more of them than we have against Hull and Marseille for eg.
Going to be a really tough game as they'll be really up for it, as we are top.

their confidence will definitely be high - have to watch out for that delefou chappy from Barcelona, his tail is up.
But I reckon we will make chances and score more than them

We need to come out of the traps in at least 4th gear - and not let their midfield dictate the pace - a Rambo bit of magic with a goal in the first 10 minutes - then another from JW just before half time then in the second half the one and only BIG FUCKIN' GERMAN :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: nods one in at the near post - Sorrrrrrted! :box: 8)

I sincerely hope that all games in the UK will hold a minute of respect for Nelson Mandela. Be it silence or applause, I think it should be done.
